One of the best budget indie psychological horror games I've ever played. It’s affordable and memorable, so you can't go wrong by giving it a try. If you enjoy it, be sure to check out its sequel, which wraps up the storyline.

The game is meant to be a message about disregarding morals and the consequences of doing so. The obvious flaw is the fact that Price's actions were never immoral in the first place, nor is his story a good example of the aforementioned message.

Besides, Price's worries seem... greatly exaggerated, to say the least. I don't think that evicting a single person from their house would result in bloody, borderline insane delusions filled with gore and cannibalism. I mean, what? From the moment that started, it felt more like a reason to slap the "Psychological Horror" tag on the store page than an actual attempt of expressing Price's (unreasonable) guilt. It seemed pointless and forced.

The characters are either extremely shallow or the textbook definitions of good or evil with little to no in between. Gameplay wise, it leaves quite a bit to be desired - most of it is going from point A to B, looping back to A to find a path to C and so on. The mushroom level was a slog.

The artstyle and sound design are definitely the game's strong suits, though - they're unique, and added to the gloomy atmosphere throughout the game.

In short: Good idea, poor execution.
