The notion that you can actually "get good" is completely false and not at all based in reality or science, your skill is objectively based on cognitive function which stabilizes at the age of 7. You may have to "lock in" when playing a game, and strategies like aiming head level and quick peaking can help your KDR, however the overall factor of skill is completely out of your control. The reason that it looks like you're improving when practicing at a video-game is simply due to you getting older, since your IQ(cognitive function) will steadily increase giving you the illusion of "practice makes perfect".
