The best thing about this game is that it's dummy proof. You learn from your mistakes and get insanely stronger because of those mistakes. Probably the best game Arkane has dropped since the original Dishonored, which Deathloop also takes some mechanics from expands on in even better ways.

About as good as I expected it to be if not a little better. Bugs are a slight issue but nothing game-breaking so far. I think the one thing that could have been better is the soundscape of the game. The city doesn't really sound as alive as it should, and the club music is toned down way too much, to the point where you can hear background conversation over the music itself. IMO a club in this type of world should be absolutely deafening but its a game so it is what it is. Story is pretty good too. Combat could be improved but is still better than expected. Only 15 hours in, but gotta say its lookin' real good.

Not good at all. Combat is clunky as hell, physics and movement are whack. UEBS level potato-ness.

Your volume settings? Meaningless. You'll have music set to 5% and it'll still ear-blast you until you reset it back in-game.

Trying to join friends is near impossible. There's no steam functionality so you have to connect in-game, and half the time their clunky UI will have you accidentally clicking "Host Private Lobby" instead of join lobby. You also can't see your friends' games in the "Friends" tab of the server browser, so that's meaningless as well.


All in all I give it a whopping -1/10 Don't waste your money on this pile of flaming garbage.

Got in, organized my supplies. Go out to different island, find buoy and use it as marker, get lost for and hour. Find island again, fire still blazing like I left it. Only thing out of place is my newly beached humpback. Hit it a couple times with machete, does absolutely nothing. 20 minutes later, come back from gathering wood, humback unbeached, swimming away. Called him Wilson. Scream "Wilson! I'm sorry Wilson, come back!" Die of starvation. 11/10 would beach whale again.

Build ♥♥♥♥ and smash into things. Build ships and fight other people. What more could you ask for? Oh wait, lasers, yes, lasers!
