Terraforming Mod by Admiral Cheeseburger

This mod has an atmosphere, heat, weather, water mod and voxel system. Using several terraforming blocks, you can alter the atmosphere, sea level, and biomass of a planet!

How far up before you can go faster than 100 m/s?

I built a craft with large ion thrusters to see if I could get off-world (I couldn't get the small reactor to work even with uranium ingots in it, but it could fly on batteries, so... there's that). I figured after a certain height, the ion thrusters would increase my speed... but at 35km altitude -and passing asteroids- I was still limited to 100 m/s. How high do I have to get before I can start going faster?...

There is a good game buried somewhere deep inside, but it's way overshadowed by developer's greed. The game gives you some basic tools to start building, but upon very first opening of the build menu you see that 90% of it is permanently grayed out, because it's all DLC content. Okay, I check in the store and turns out the total cost of DLCs as of the time of writing this reviews is 4x (FOUR TIMES) the price of the base game. This is some Paradoxical levels of greed

The game has been in development for a decade at this point, but still a buggy mess. I played multiplayer with friends and we didn't have a single session without someone encountering a game breaking issue of some sort. It seems that most of this development time was spent making DLCs

Overall, I can't recommend this game. To make an analogy, playing multiplayer will feel like you are having only cobblestone and oak planks, while the rest of the server got modern minecraft block assortment. Oh, and someone will crash every session, losing their inventory in a process
