An open strategy gamer's forum.

We are a group of PC gaming enthusiasts interested in strategy, wargame and 4X games of all kinds. We wish to bring people together both for discussion of winning strategies and tactics and to facilitate multiplayer gaming.

Looking for event creators

I want to increase the number of game events so we are now officially recruting people for the purpose of events.

Game sessions, chat and strategy training events or anything else you can think of. Okay maybe not a documentary on the mating habits of the dung beetle, but I will accept a strange japanese game show.

Any game, any time, any bat channel.... wait that is the wrong train of thought.

But yes if you want to be able to post events let me know and I will find a way to let you make and monitor your own events. This will make it easier for everyone to know when there is someone waiting and available for specific games and when groups are available.

also always remeber there is the group chat room that a few of us seem to haunt on a regular basis now, so you can come in chat and maybee find a pick up match of something.

Moday Night blood bowl.

With the official release of Blood Bowl 2 play with friends in the original fantasy football. Beat your friends and kill your opponents (because there is to much paperwork to kill the specators) With 9 starting races you can watch orcs massacre those squishy skaven, while wood elves leave dwaves standing still.

The new UI and engine add some nice improvements to the gameplay and visual style while still keeping to the classic gameplay created by the Games Workshop original tabletop game.

Main game night will be each monday night. I have created a league so you can find and fight your friends "strategic win" There is a free ladder there and you can play league matches at any time and with enough interest we will have additional tournaments.

@onionbro Thanks for answer me. I was worried because of the low reception of the game on Steam at that time. By my research seems that WitE has been more played, do you have any opinion about that? How many time you think that takes to learn how to play?

@Hercatre WitW is a top quality wargame. Buy it now while it's on sale. The Complete Edition (base game and DLC) is a steal. I've played a tutorial and one small map scenario. Amazingly fun and deep wargame and very detailed. I played one smaller scenario 4 times just so that I could understand everything that is going on. Any specific questions?

Someone here already have take a look at Gary Grigsby's War in the West? I'm very excited to buy this but I would be grateful to have some insights on.
