0.9.1 - A New Hope. Not save compatible.
New:
- New specimens.
- New icons for certain buildings.
- New Hutt fleet names.
- New lead up events for fallen empires.
Changes:
- Fully migrated the Rebel Alliance to begin with other countries from the very start of the game, resolving various configuration issues.
- X-series stations disabled until further notice and will be adjusted sometime after 4.0
- Eriadu Authority starting alien species will automatically switch from slaves to residence after the first month
- Remaining Jedi and Sith traits now use LOTOR values.
- AI Rebel Alliance modifiers reduced
- Adjusted tiered hero traits for reduced upkeep and cost.
- Adjusted modifiers for existing Jedi specimens. They all now provide different bonuses.
- Oreenians now have continental preference.
- Values for "Seizure of Jedi Assets" event changed. It will now grant either a Jedi or kyber crystal specimen.
- Adjusted habitability of certain planets: Wukkar is tier 2, Fresia is teir 1, and Ord Radama is tier 3.

- Lead up event for fallen empires now properly grants a specimen.
- Hutt cargo event for Rebel-aligned empires now has the chance to grant a Hutt-related specimen.
- Restored Occupation of Balmorra to track list.
- Hera Syndulla's spawn date adjusted from 80 to 120 years in.

Fixes:
- Fixed major crash with the Galactic Civil War.
- Rebel Alliance should no longer tank its own economy and fracture.
- Prevented a couple instances of potential comms leakage. Loose lips sink ships!
- Removed duplicate unique deposts on Csilla.
- Progression for "Seizure of Jedi Assets" now works as intended.
- Resource stockpile checks for rebellion events fixed so they can be greater than or equal to the required amount.
- Fixed duplicated Veers for Imperials.
- Potential fix for heroes spawning with the wrong traits.

0.9.0 - A New Hope. Not save compatible. Special thanks to the LOTOR team, Dal, TheChosenOne, Walschicus, Gyn Steel, Force728, PrattPratt, and Tootastic for contributing to this update.

Major Changes:
Galactic Civil War:
- Several new narrative events centered around the build up to the Galactic Civil War. These events are only available on the canon map sizes.
- New dynamic modifiers based on your choices in these events. Many of the pre-existing Rebel events also use these modifiers. We are very much open to feedback on them and values are subject to change based on player feedback.
- The Rebel Alliance spawns at game start and will build up internally before the Galactic Civil War breaks out. Rebel-aligned players will be able to switch to them as normal to take advantage of a bit more stabilized Rebel Alliance.
- Rebel Aliiance and their allies will leave the Galactic Community when GCW starts
- Easier for the Rebel Alliance to have options for dragging empires into GCW
- The option to play as the Rebel Alliance will appear for every Rebel-aligned faction with the decision being made after 1 month.
Ciutric Hegemony:
- Cuitric Hegemony now playable without Country Add-on and spawns on all map types and sizes. They have access to the generic Imperial and generic human hero roster as well as the COMPNOR and Moff Council traditions.
Crisis Paths:
- The Crusader and New Order crises are on separate paths moving forward. Currently only the kyber mining perk is removed for the Crusader route. More distinct perks and loc changes will appear in future versions.

New:
- Hero system expanded to include more heroes for existing rosters as well as the introduction of Bothan, Hutt, and Pantoran heroes.
- The Children of the Watch/The Tribe formable now gain The Armorer and Paz Vizsla.
- Several new unique deposits for various planets and certain homeworlds including the Scraplands on Ord Mantell and the Valley of the Jedi on Ruusan.
- Brand new portraits for the following leaders: Thrawn, Jocasta Nu, Lee Char.
- New agendas for all three Imperial trees, the MandalMotors and Crusade trees, the CIS Holdout tree, and the Rebel Alliance tree. Their values are subject to player feedback.
- New rooms for both of the CIS vassals and Nu Enclave.
- New pre-ftl species added: Ishi Tib, Vagaari, Selkath, and Gand.
- Added LOTOR's Spice Connoisseur, Medical Supply Logistician, and Fuel Distribution Specialist traits. These traits have been adapted for New Dawn's resources.
- New specimens added including some adapted from LOTOR. Some of these specimens are added to existing cantina events while others are tied to some narrative events.
- Galactic Community automatically forms on canon map starts.
- Several new tracks and new main menu music.

Changes:
- Lando Calrissian is now set as official as opposed to commander.
- Bail Organa now spawns at 1 years instead of 5 years for Alderaan.
- Tibrin system renamed to Cal and is restored on huge and large maps. System still referred to as Tibrin within the files.
- Serenno is now connected to the Ciutric Hegemony on all map sizes.
- Removed Eriadu-Cal hyperlane on huge, large, and medium maps.
- Restored previously disabled leader death events.
- Certain mod traditions now raise different leader caps.
- Adjusted the Rhinnal State Medical Academy deposit to also produce bacta in addition to its current modifiers.
- The original Lee Char portrait texture added to existing Mon Calamari phenotypes.
- The introductory institution pop up is less wordy.
- Improved multiple portrait assets.
- Jedi and Sith scientists now use LOTOR values.
- Tion uses CIS uniforms.
- Adjusted various hero leader skill levels and starting traits.
- Jovan added to Yavin cluster on small and medium maps
- Custom edict costs slightly reduced
- Adjusted Zanbar's position on medium maps
- Kuat Raid event now takes a short amount time to complete and rewards reworked to scaling reward system.
- Slight buff to individual clan resource production, scales up as game progresses until year 50
- Moderate increase to individual clans desire for lands relative to number of systems controlled
- Cosmic Storms: Default setting turned to off.
- Removed the following tracks: Families of Mos Espa, Mando is Back, and Occupation of Balmorra.

Fixes:
- GCW will start even if player is not a rebel faction
- Rebel Alliance will get shared communications from all rebel sympathizer factions upon reveal
- Rebel Alliance no longer has incorrect diplomacy distance penalties upon reveal
- Mandalorian Clans: Individual clan internal events and checks applying to them should now work
- Mandalorian AI will respect the rules for granting and stripping lands or Sola will burn them to the ground
- Rom Moch and Armand Isard's catchphrases are properly displayed.
- Mandalorian clans will no longer interact with envoy events.
- Clan diplomacy shows proper leaders in diplomacy screens.
- Clan discommendations now work.
- Disabled the "Sick Stormtroopers" chain for the time being. It will be reworked in the future.
- Create Federation: choose federation type list window expanded
- Federation laws tab moved to unused federation fleet tab position.
- Deep Space Station locs fixed.
- Duplicate unions map mode button removed.
- Number of relics displayed per row on relics screen expanded 4 -> 6
- Obsidian Lake event can no longer grant rare crystals.
- Orbital ring modules and buildings locals removed from tech cards
- Fixed missing text icons for various institutions.
- Fixed institution locs not matching what their actual values are.
- Zann Consortium event chain can cost resources as indicated in event text
- AI will avoid building Death Star on borders with other empires
- Galactic Empire ai will not choose Crusader Spirit civic
- Awakened fallen empires will now spawn with the proper fleets.
- Faction screen predicted pop ethic percentages on topbar centered
- Various background fixes

- Disabled Science Nexus tech since the megastructure is disabled.
- Disabled Giga Cannon tech from vanilla. Not sure how that one slipped through.
- Trade station designation will swap clerks to traders.
- Noghri and Talz pre-ftls have proper pre-ftl age.

0.8.16 - This is the Way. 3.14.15 Compatibility. Not Save Compatible.

New:
- Additional Cerean phenotypes from LOTOR by Bane.
- Black Sun now will start with ownership of Numidian, Qiilura, and Jarnollen system on canon maps where applicable. These systems now have initializers tier 1 habitability.

Changes:
- Disabled ill-fitting colony events such as the "Dancing Plague" and "Feral Overload" chains. Some of these chains did not fit the setting at all and often spammed the player with event pop ups a year or so into the game.
- Non-Xenophile empires now prefer their starting species as leader.
- Crystaline Entities revasion reduced.
- Crisis AI Empires (Galactic Empire and Mandalorian Crusade) will no longer switch species rights to undesirable (This was tanking Galactic Empire's economy early mid-game).
- Reworked "Spice Runners" event to grant different rewards.
- Various defines and localizations adjusted.

Fixes:
- AI economic policy adjustments for unity used on leaders.
- AI economic policy for spice added--Black Sun will build branch office buildings again!

Changes:
- Reenabled certain traits for genetic modification.
- Lowered the fleet size given to empires spawned from vanilla unrest events.
- Improved the description of the "Rebel Connections" tradition perk.

Fixes:
- Removed genetic resequencing tech requirement for advanced trait modding. Advanced trait modding now only requires the genetic resequencing tradition perk granted through the Genetics tree.
- Cleaned up some loc errors

Changes:
- Planet district and building spawns improved. Empires should no longer be in massive resource deficits or have unemployment at game start (May take a month to shuffle pops around correctly).
- Two pops moved from Axum to Hesperidium to manage food at game start.
- Fleet manager expanded
- Obsolete Designs button moved to tab beneath Fleet Manager and Ship Designer
- Disabled certain species traits from being used in gene modding. These were mostly leftover Toxid specific traits and ones related to certain species such as "Hapan Beauty." The species specific traits will still appear on their intended species but won't be options when modifying one.
- Re-enabled "Genetics" tradition tree.
- Re-enabled "Engineered Evolution" ascension perk.

Note: "Engineered Evolution" now follow's LOTOR's approach and will only be selectable by player empires and AI Arkanians and Killiks. "Genetics" also does this as well as a safeguard.

Fixes:
- Clone Vats should now be buildable again once the conditions are met.
- Batuu initializer properly applied to medium and small canon maps.
- Fixed rare crystal job from obsidian lake modifier
- Disabled laser tech granted from fircon.2001
- Disabled "Dusty Drink" event from Cosmic Storms
- Disabled "Storm in a box" event chain from Cosmic Storms
- Fixed faction demands from certain Mandalorian clans
- Fixed issues with various storms granting vanilla strategic resources. Tooltips for aftermath modifiers are also changed to reflect this.
- Disabled various Cosmic Storm anomalies/events that granted vanilla strategic resources through deposits or outcomes.
- Disabled techs for storm weapons and armor.
- Penal colony decision correctly swaps districts
- Shipyard megastructures should no longer be spammed by the AI

Note: As it stands now, only a handful of things are disabled with Cosmic Storms (the unique AP, civics, and Shroud Storms). We will take another look at the storm specific stuff based on player feedback and changes made by Paradox.

- Akiva system reworked. Akiva itself is now a tier 1 tropical planet with a monsoon subclass.
- Batuu set to tier 1. This is to help out Bakura early in the game with 0 to 1x habitability enabled.
- Ship size build variables adjusted
- Base command limit increase; smaller empires no longer above command limit at start
- Economic plan updates
- Balanced megashipyard desire

Fixes:
- Disabled "Genesis Guide" and "Eager Explorer" civics.
- Fixed edge case for minor faction removal on uninhabitable worlds

- Fixed weird texture issue for Keldabe-class and Aggressor-class ships

- New room for Dorin Commonwealth. This replaces their original one which was shared with the Chommel Sector.
- New council room for CSA, Onderon, and Black Sun.

- Eriadu Authority's leader is now prescripted.
- Updated "Imperial Loyalist" council room.
- Updated Chiss Ascendency council room.
- Adjusted spawn dates for Chiss heroes.

- Updated Ar'alani's hair.
- Cona system renamed to Teke Ro.
- Kubindi system renamed to Ku'Bakai.
Note: These only applies to the localization. Both systems are still referred to as "Cona" and "Kubindi" in the code.
- Switched Onderon's border and flag colors to match LOTOR.
- Most strategic resource edicts now cost the affected resource instead of unity.

Fixes:
- Low income modifiers for worker jobs restored to vanilla values.
- Planetary automation updated to include New Dawn's content.
- Removed robotic traits that required vanilla strategic resources.
- Panaka's bio and homeworld fixed.
- Generic colony events brought over from LOTOR should now fire properly.
- Two Chiss story events should fire properly.
- Tooltip for Mandalorian Protector armies should properly display limit now.
- Mandalorian Protector army limits reworked and players should not be able to field any more than three armies total.
Note: Unfortunately, the Protector armies cannot be rebuilt after they're destroyed or disbanded. We are currently looking for a solution for this issue.
- Minor loc fixes and improvements.
