0.8.14a - This is the Way. Not save compatible.
Special thanks to Solavenator for helping out with various bug fixes in this version.
Note: This update contains changes to districts and deposits. Please let us know if there any issues. We are aware of the issue with captured shipyards and are still working on a proper solution.

New:
- Initializers for Batuu and Batorine. Batuu is is set as tier 3. Batorine is tier 4 and only appears on the huge and large maps.
- Chommel and Tapani sectors now have unique rooms and prescripted leaders.

Changes:
- Adjusted tiers for Treskov, Ojom, and Hakassi systems. Treskov and Hakassi are now tier 4 and Ojom is tier 3.
- Adjusted habitability for planets near Iridonia to improve their starting situation; Dalron and Alashan are now tier 1 arid planets. Alashan is now using the forgotten world subtype.
Note: Alashan only appears on the large canon and sandbox maps.
- Adjusted Takodana initializer and removed extra planets from system.
- Adjusted cost for colony ships; AI will colonize a bit more freqently now
- Updated Saw Gerrera portrait.

Fixes:
- Pop promotion issues should be resolved. Please let us know of any issues with pops not properly being promoted.
Note: We are fully aware of pre-ftl/minor empire pops not promoting. As far as we can tell, this is a Paradox issue.
- Farming deposits now only spawn on correct planet classes.
- Districts of the same type (eg: Agriculture and Moisture Farming) should no longer both be present on planets.
- Coruscant is no longer missing a building slot.
- AI empires should no longer start with 5+ scientist leaders
- Solar panel networks should now be buildable again.
- Removed unused mining bay building from starbases.
- Disabled fleet tab in federation window.
- Disabled federation perks for fleets.

0.8.14 - This is the Way.

3.12.5 Compatibility. Not Save Compatible.
New:
- Corporate Sector Authority is now fully playable without needing the Country Add-on. They are now expanded to include unique tradition swaps, uniforms for military leaders and enforcers, heroes, and institution options.
- New Confederate specific uniforms
- Etti pre-ftl species restored
- Felucian pre-ftl reintroduced
- Abyssin species and Byss/Abyss system initializer added. Species and system spawn on huge, large, and medium maps.
Note: Special thanks to Guthixian for granting us permission to incorporate their submod into New Dawn as well as their expansion of CSA content.

Changes:
- Corporate Sector Authority now spawns on both canon and sandbox versions of the smaller map sizes
- Hapans now have continental preference like humans. However, they are still classified as their own distinct species.
- Hapes planet background is now the one from pc_ancient
- Jodaka is now an ocean planet with a reef world subclass
- Rainboh is now a gaia world with a garden world subclass
- Renamed "Rebel Raid on Kuat" to "Kuat Raid"
- Improved tool tip for "Cloning Concept" ascension perk
- Ewok species traits adjusted; now using communial and sedentary instead of intelligent and solitary
- Loc improvements

Fixes:
- Missing techs and building upgrades should now show up properly
- Removed rare crystal upkeep costs for Citadel of Faith
- Restored select planet entities that were not set up (Yavin, Cato Nemoidia)
- Kalevala no longer switches planet entities from toxic to savannah
- Yavin hyperlanes restored on huge and large sandbox maps
- Missing string for Togruta Covenant
- Disabled Nemma World event (colony.9000)
- Disabled more taxing and unused triggers
Note: We are aware that ownership of planetary and orbital shipyards after a war is broke again. We are currently looking into solutions.

0.8.13.a - This is the Way

NOTE: Paradox removed a depreciated trigger that was used in some of New Dawn's techs. We've updated code effected by this change. Please let us know if there are any tech issues.
3.12.4 Compatibility. Not Save Compatible.

New:
- New planet backgrounds for the following planets: Lothal, Utapau, Crait. Special thanks to Gatekeeper and the Planetary Diversity team for allowing us to use their art.

Changes:
- The following megastructures now use the vanilla deconstruction system: orbital and planetary shipyards, trade stations, Kwa gates, Starforge. Deconstruction costs will be adjusted based on player feedback.
- Alderaan now uses the boreal subtype
- Loc improvements for newer deposits
- Adjusted habitability for Lythos system

Fixes:
- Planetary shipyards on start restored for: Mon Calamari, Empire, Mandalore, Kallea Sector
- Volatile mote costs removed from Military Academy and Fortress buildings
- Purrgil event should properly finish for materialists
- Disabled main menu ambience
- Nebula refineries placement issues
- Disabled unused planetary modifier on districts
- Mandalorian clan fleets now hire commanders
- Robotic servitude things should be fixed

- First contact event for Purgill now properly finishes
- "Mandalorian Civil War" modifier is properly removed after end of the war
- Space Casino building should now properly spawn on Canto Bight
- Cato Nemoidia planet should now properly display on planet view

Changes:
- Adjusted spawns for certain Imperial heroes: Pryce, Veers, and Piett are now generic Imperial heroes. Strang spawns for the Eriadu Authority 20 years in instead of 25.

NOTE: District and scripted_triggers were restructured in this update to better align with vanilla formatting for ease of updating. AI budgets for electronics, bacta, hyperfuel, and ammunition were altered as well. Please let us know if any issues arise from these changes.

Changes:
- The following are now prescripted leaders: Lee Char, Marath Vooro, Pensar Luc, Notluwiski Papanoida, Ziton Moj, and Borsk Fey'lya
- Slightly lowered some prescripted ruler start levels from 4 to 2
- Ciutric Hegemony uses Imperial clothes
- Bacta treatment edict now uses bacta as upkeep cost instead of unity
- Unique district decision cost changes: Certain unique district decisions have had their costs adjusted in an attempt to prevent spamming. These changes are not final and will be adjusted based on user feedback.
- Certain UI icons improved thanks to Oreo

Fixes:
- Tactical droids can no longer use the force and now properly display their species
- Disabled Toxic Baths civic
- Darksaber is now a councilor trait
- Fixed inaccurate tooltip for Genetic Modifying AP

0.8.11c This is the Way - Not Save Compatible
New:
- 3.11 Compatibility; thanks to Harain for fixing the setup and mp_gamesetup.gui files
- Three new systems and two new initalizers: Zeffo, Bracca, Nevarro added and Kijimi and Pasaana with new inits by TheChosenOne. Nevarro will appear on all maps, Bracca appears only on huge/large maps, and Zeffo appears on all but small maps. These systems also include unique deposits as well.
- New set of traits for all hero leaders: Important, Notable, and Relevant Character. These only affect the character's lifespan and is used to indicate their overall importance in lore. Trait names are subject to change.
- Added scrapyard worlds as a subclass
- Added additional Imperial and Mandalorian names
Changes:
- Starting colonies will have a city, mining district, and farming district by default so pops won't begin as homeless bums.
- Changed subclasses of certain systems.
- Adjusted spawn dates for Ozzic Sturn and Maketh Tua
- Palpatine's starting traits are now properly applied as councilor traits
- Commerce Guild now start on a continental world instead of ecuminopolis to prevent ruined economy on day 1; thanks to TheChosenOne for this fix
Fixes:
- Build limits for Mandalorian Protector armies properly applied based on which route is taken.
- Farstine and other planets have proper starting colony scripts again.
- Federation law UI fixed.
- Ground combat UI overflow fixed.
- Talz Colony properly spawns on canon map for Pantorans and no longer use vanilla species portraits.
- Bellator now has some visible turrets thanks to Tracyn. Please note that not all hardpoints have visible turret models at the moment
- Fixed weird layering issue on Korriban's planet view
- Minor loc improvements

0.8.5b This is the Way (Not Save Compatible)

New:
- Cham Syndulla is now a prescripted leader for Ryloth; portrait assets are not final.
- Two new generic leader outfits

Changes:
- Uninhabitable worlds will be considered barren by the game engine, but will keep their original appearance in system view
- Adjusted councilor names and descriptions based on suggestions provided by Caboose Corsair
- Adjusted ruler clothes for non-prescripted rulers in empire selection screen

Fixes:
- Restored unknown region starbase restriction
- Restored AI diplomatic action clamps for significant performance improvement
- Refinery focus veteran trait properly uses mod resources

Note: if you have an ongoing save and want to use the habitability changes, open the console and put in

effect any_galaxy_planet = { limit = { has_modifier = habitability_0 } change_pc = { class = pc_barren inherit_entity = yes } }

Those planets will lose any colonies that were added to them, and on patching any invalid starbases in the unknown region will go poof (valid bases and colonies will remain)
