Description
Scouts excel at providing information to their teammates, bringing a sniper rifle and pistol into combat they can sneak into optimal positions then strike when ready.

Squaddie:
Phantom: When the squad is revealed, this soldier remains concealed.
Squadsight: You can target enemies within allies sight as long as their is line of sight.
Reconnoiter: Once every 4 turns you can throw a battlescanner as a free action. this does not require a battlescanner equipped, and does not consume equipped battlescanners.
High Noon: No long range aim penalty on pistols


LCPL:
Lead the Target: Costs 2 actions to delay your shot until the enemy moves with +20 to hit.
Concealing Shot: 4 Turn Cooldown. Special Pistol shot that grants concealment on kill, If you are already concealed you will retain concealment on kill.
Snapshot: You make take a shot after moving with your sniper rifle but with severe aim penalties beyond 5 tiles of squadsight.

CPL:
Steady Hands: If you did not move last turn gain +10 Aim, and +10 Crit
Stalker: +10 aim and 3 mobility while concealed.
Predator: +15 aim and +10 crit against flanked enemies.

SGT
Center Mass: +1 Damage with guns.
Shadowborn: +15 Aim and +15 Crit whenever the targeted enemy cannot see this soldier. Always applies while concealed, also applies from squad sight.
Implacable: Once Per Turn. Gain a movement only action after killing an enemy.

SSGT
Nimble Hands: You can reload your sniper rifle for free on cooldown.
Magnum: +1 Damage, +10 Aim with pistols
Fearsome: Your critical strikes have a chance to fear nearby enemies.

TSGT
Disabling Shot: Fire a special shot that will stun targets. Longer duration stun on critical strikes.
Conceal: Immediately enter concealment once per mission.
Overkill: Ranged attacks deal +2 damage to targets below 50% HP.

GSGT
Double Tap: Fire a special shot then gain an action dedicated to shooting or overwatching.
Liquidator: Pistol kills do not cost an action.
Light Foot: Reduces detection range and gives +3 Mobility.

MSGT
Lethal: +2 damage with primary weapons, and an additional +1 on critical strike.
Silenced Shot: Upgraded Concealing Shot, No Cooldown, Non-Turn Ending, Guaranteed to Hit.
Running on empty: If you are missing ammo when you move you will automatically reload.

The following perks appear in both the class tree as well as the Xcom decks: Double Tap, Steady Hands, Nimble Hands, Conceal, Fearsome, and Overkill.

might be a darkclaw issue? cus i haven't had that problem with scout but havent used the darkclaw on him.

I'm having issues with Concealing Shot. I do a kill shot with Concealing Shot, I get concealed and then immediately revealed. It happened twice in my last mission, which is the only mission I have used the power in. I am not sure if it is a general issue or if it was due to me using the Chosen Darkclaw as pistol.

LWotC has an advanced start option that lets you pick multiple skills from the same level.

It is a pity that Center Mass and Shadowborn conflict at Sergeant. Being able to take both would make a pistol build more viable. Maybe switch Center Mass and Nimble Hands?

Shadowborn seems pretty broken
