Often times very inconsistent

Also froze my computer for a full 2 minutes causing Steam to crash and all my apps to restart

From having barely played the game to having played for nearly 150 hours, my perspective has not changed.

This is still one of the best games ever, and the things I've said while playing it are still keeping me on a federal watch list.

Pros:
-Gud story
-Visuals made me forget what was real and what wasn't
-Planes look hawt
-Explosions are insanely nice (I'm looking at you Mission 8)
Cons:
-Rudders don't support analog (WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY)

DOOM, but with a twist that I never knew I needed.

I've played a ****ton of rhythm games, and even more shooters. They are almost NOTHING alike typically, and I'd never expect a game that is both to ever appear. When I first heard of this game, it sounded like it would be a pain in the @$$, having to shoot to the rhythm of the music in order to kill efficiently. However they may have done it, they did it beautifully. Yes, it's a big gimmick, but execution is key. The execution, was a 20/10. Aside from that, the sounds are meaty, the graphics are hot, and the soundtrack is worth sacrificing both my kidneys for.

even though l4d2 has everything from this, og left 4 dead still feels fantastic.

I've only played for about an hour and this rocks. If you've played DOOM, Quake, or are just a fan of retro (or retro themed) shooters, this is definitely a must-have.
