Well, I finally played this gem after years of waiting and being afraid of the difficulty. It honestly wasn't as hard as people made it out to be, and I'm not too great at games anyway. The RPG system allows you to grind yourself to a point where you make the bosses significantly easier, and it leads to a very enjoyable experience where you can generally tailor the difficulty to your preference. Except the Bed of Chaos. That boss sucks! Highly recommend checking out the Dark Souls of Dark Souls.
