Essentials

- Am I on anywhere else? : Yeah, like Epic, GOG, Stove, Indiegala, etc, which increases my game count, not a flex... and I TOTALLY (legally) emulate my games.
- How do you have so many games? : Well, a bad spending addiction on my allowance/past commissions (which I control properly now), and friends buying me 50% of my games.
- I got a hyperfixiation (for some odd reason) on dead multiplayer games that used to have a community. I determine dead games by the obviously, being dead or having a really low active community, not like Neotokyo (e.g. Nosgoth, Brink, games featured in my games collection below). I genuinely enjoy multiplayer games even if it takes me hours of my life which I could use it for other stuff to understand the game

Yeah, I'm pretty aware some people don't like retrospective/video essay youtubers (including me), but I could care less, keep gatekeeping I'll still play 'em!

A Completely Fictional Story About a City Inside a Whale

An Amazing Comfy Game

I was given a key to playtest the beta, there will be no biased opinions whatsoever.

I remember playing the original demo which was a bit different than this but to see it evolve over time is really amazing. I don't play that much comfy games but this one in particular really is charming, with its music, artstyle, simplistic gameplay (and puzzles) that are easy to get into, straightforward humour (and times where it is actually funny); you can safely go around in your own pace and won't be punished for it!

I can really say this is probably my favourite for THIS year.

What could've been better

I'm not a writer by no means, occasionally I do write stories for myself so I don't think I could've given any useful insight on how to work out a story but If I were to say something that could've been a bit better; it would definitely be the lore for the Whaleville itself, would be really cool to see it more fleshed out, especially with the Whale themselves and how this city came to be, there are some tad bits here and there but never fully realized. I won't spoil much about the characters because you need to play it out for yourself ahaha-like I said they have a sort of charm to them especially with the artstyle, it's just great worldbuilding that lasts awhile!

Ending Notes

Even if the development is over, I really do hope to see more from the game, maybe additional content (no matter how small it is) or once I have enough money, perhaps a soundtrack dlc-? On the sidenote, the soundtrack is really good!

The developers have been listening to all the feedback, all the ideas and suggestions, and talking with them is amazing! Get this game, full-price or on-sale, up to you! I really recommend it. It really shows there is still passionate developers out there in the world, great job for the team and congrats on the launch! All the best to you guys <3
