Mares of Pitch

In daymares I wake, in nightmares I sleep. From dusk till dawn, my mind continues to creep. What shall I do with my life now? I asked to Satan and God both, and to my dismay and utter failure, neither yelled nor spoke.

I ask of thee, who spoke to me, in tongues and ancient lyric. For who am I to judge a soul, but as are you to hear it.

And once time has passed, may the mares finally become lame. For who am I to question, that is which is God's name.
