Valve took our money, and they won big. They hook kids on games and they manipulate them to buy stuff that does not matter. How is it different from cardboard football cards from the 90's? you don't have anything tangible. You can't interact physically with a skin you bought in OW2 or CS2. You don't own it. Valve owns it and they own us.

I bought this game when it came out. Let it lie for a couple of years, then took it up after they launched "A Realm Reborn". I hit the level 50 cap at that time and lost interest. I came back now 3-4 years later and there is a TON of stuff to do.

-Apartment purchasing
-Chocobo Breeding
-Collecting Minions/Mounts
-Companion Levelling
-Crafting
-Daily Beast Tribe Quests (faction minions/mounts)
-Daily Hunts
-Deep Dungeons (both high and low level)
-Dungeons
-Dungeons with your own "AI"-controlled Squadron(solo instancing)
-Estate Management
-Gathering
-Glamouring (farming gear for glamouring)
-Golden Saucer "gambling"/Gate farming
-Grand Company Quests
-Hunting Log completion per class/job
-Levequesting
-Levelling all classes/jobs to 70
-Mini Games at the Golden Saucer (Chocobo Racing, Lord of Verminion, Triple Triad - other smaller more insignificant games; but still fun)
-Raids
-Sightseeing
-Weekly challenges
-Weekly Hunts
-World Bosses (B,A,S ranks)

and I haven't even completed the Main Questline yet... still at level lvl 67 and waiting for people to be willing to help out with Sri Lahksmi :-P

Controls are okay, but it can get a bit hectic at times when people and monster + special effects are going off all over the place - but you can cuztomize your interface ENTIRELY to your liking.
Graphics are a bit outdated now, but still good looking and runs smooth on an i5/1070 GTX computer.
Music is nice; if you like classical/orchestral. Personally I deactivated it because it gives me a headache :-P

There are three types of people in the game in parties when in dungeons:
1. Totally silent (cant understand your preferred language or on a console and doesn't have the capacity or ability to type). 2. Says hello with a macro.
3. Spams the chat with a macro that fills up five screens.

There are three types of players in the game in general also.
1. People who understand their current job and plays it well.
2. People who levelled all jobs and play all of them so-so or rubbish (Some are very good with all but as you can summize they are few and FAR in between)
3. Total and utter newbies, who you have to drag through every dungeon/trial and do not research an encounter one bit.

All in all a great MMO with a lot of stuff to do wether you like to do it solo or as a group!
