Well, lets start off with saying, this game does suffer from the corporate greed of tons of expansions and DLC's adding to the base price. But most of the major DLC's are worth the cash.

Total war has always been something i love. This game is no different. Tactics and paying attention are all good ways to enjoy the game. With the campaign being different for each of the factions it adds certain charm that other Total war games do not have.


They added Mortal Empires too the game adding a "freeplay" giant map campaign where you can play as the factions from the first game, the only downside being the fact you need the first game to actually play this mode.

Mods also add changes to many of the things in the game and are indeed a good plus.

8.5/10. Well worth the full price, however goes on sale often so buy it on sale. A must buy for fans of the TOTAL WAR formula, even if you prefer historical TOTAL WAR games.
