I have replayed this amazing remake of Half-Life 1 so many times, I remember pissing my friend off in high school, asking him every day if he had been watching its progress before it had even released to the public back in 2010. I've played many different versions as it grew up over the years, then waited for Xen to finally get added.

Long story short, maybe there's a heavy dose of nostalgia since I've played HL1 since I was 8 or 9, but it's a great FPS alien / science lab shooter with a now classic story. If you haven't played it yet for some reason, do it now, then go play the second Half Life!

The original before Forged Alliance came out and more or less made this game obsolete. An epic game that holds a huge amount of nostalgia for me. A must have for true RTS fans

But can it run Crysis?!?!?!?!?!?

It's a great game, just doesn't do the Supreme Commander name any justice. Get SupCom FA and FAF if you like this.

Running in the Snow?

rFactor 2 is officially abandoned directly from the mouth of the CEO Stephen Hood himself. I could tell things were headed this way since he took over, but pretty sad we're here, when just a year or two ago I was promoting rFactor 2 to people I knew from the rooftops.

Yes rF2 is an older game. Yes it has had a rough past couple years being bought up, employees quitting, new management, etc... but it just feel like a kick in the crotch when

1) Race Control was just added not that long ago and has brought new people to the game
2) Multiple classes of cars were added like BTCC or reworked like the GT3s
3) Still a "Coming Soon" Label on the Career Mode in the menus
4) Maybe a year ago or slightly longer, there was big talk of a "new era of rF2, with guaranteed quarterly content releases". Right...

I've been holding out hope that this wouldn't be the way things go with rF2 since they stopped adding new things to the game, and it seemed like they were headed in a direction to increase player count to make more money from rF2 and focus on it more, but I was proven right.

Literally 2 weeks ago they had a $100 all DLC sale which would be most enticing for new players. I wouldn't be too happy right now if I were one of those people finding out that the game you just spent a good chunk of money on was planning to end support just weeks later. Maybe you could have told people that before or during the sale so it doesn't seem like you were just trying to do a final cash in on these people?

You can hold out hope for rF3, but it seemed like Hood all but said rF3 probably won't happen whether LMU does well or not as they will probably just try to do an Indy game and possibly a standalone BTCC game that was rumored. Let's hope Assetto Corsa Evo comes through for us.
