Let me start off by saying that I have rarely played as the killer, so I do not have much of a review for that point of view.

However, when it comes to playing as a survivor, I absolutely love this game.

It honestly might be one of my favorite games. Not my favorite, but up there. Definitely top 10.
(My top 10 are somewhat all over the place: Kingdom Hearts, Dead By Daylight, Spiderman: Miles Morales, Infamous: Second Son, Uncharted 4, etc.)

Since day 1, I have enjoyed this game so much. It is the first ever multiplayer game that I can truly play by myself. I enjoy it more with friends, of course, but I found myself actually playing when I was the only one online. This is typically what I would call the "safe game" amongst my friends and I (I'm sure I'm not the only one who tries for sometimes an hour or two, maybe way longer, to decide on a game with their friend(s)). Anytime we cannot decide on a game, this is usually our go-to game.

Now, as great as a game as it is, I do have some issues with it.
-I sometimes get annoyed that I get daily rituals for killers when I never play killer and can only get rid of one ritual a day (rituals these daily challenges you get)
-I get a little annoyed with how many hooks there are on each map and how close they are (even when the offering is used)
-The wiggle bar is almost pointless, maybe it's the amount of hooks on the map, how close they are, or the amount of "wiggle" you actually produce, but you almost never get off the killers back.
-The textures could look better compared to other games
-After one of the updates, I can't remember exactly, it started to feel like the survivors were kind of nerfed. When running away from killers, it almost feels like you are kind of blocky, maybe it's just me, but even when juking, I sometimes can't ever get away (I'm no pro, but I used to be able to escape the killer more often).
-Another thing about killers, some of the perks (assuming they are perks of some kind??) are kind of insane. I feel like there are times where the killer instantly knows where I am
---Normally this occurs after they have completed some type of action, which is what leads me to believe they have these kind of perks (i.e. downing another survivor when I am near, hooking a survivor while I am on a generator, etc.)

Side Note:
-There are also a few killers who can essentially one hit a survivor, but I won't complain about it because I don't really know what it takes to actually one hit. I think Michael Myers needs to stalk you for a certain amount of time before he can one hit, and by that point the survivor would have had time to notice him.

In the end, these negatives don't steer me away from the game, and it shouldn't for you either. The community is very friendly, the main point of the game is to utilize teamwork to escape, and all in all, its a BLAST to play!!!!

I very highly recommend it, they are always adding survivors and killers. Just this year they added Nicholas Cage, Alien, and Chucky!!!

P.S. If you are nervous about being scared, the feeling does eventually go away, and it is so worth it. If you need someone to play with, feel free to message me or comment!!
