I get to live out my fantasy of being a detective without actually going through all the crap to become one.

Is it Quake 3 arena? No.

Can you still have fun with your homies getting crushed by savage 20 year vets of the series? Yes.

On a serious note though, the game started out rough and has become much better. The game is patched monthly with major improvements. If a patch starts heading in the wrong direction Saber tends to listen to the feedback. Not to go full shill mode but full price, or on sale, the game is seriously worth it were finally getting a strong arena shooter once more.

Some will dispute to the death that this is not Quake, and some will argue it is. Only you can really decide how you feel about it by playing.
