At the time of writing this review, I have completed every quest and explored every location there is currently at 15.3.2026. This review does contain some SPOILERS for in-game equipment and enemies.

The game is wonderful and just the kind of game I've been wanting for a long time. The water especially is absolutely beautiful. It flows as it should, waves work as they should and even foams a little when it's stormy.

Combat is at least currently the weakest part of the game, but also thankfully the least important part of the game. Guns feel okay to use, but are very slow to reload and the handling could be better, especially considered we play as a robot. Damage output of guns seems surprisingly low as well, where the highest tier ammo on a sniper rifle requires three or more full magazines to kill some Angels.

Crafting and breaking down items is the thing I'm really interested in and its the core of the game besides exploration and.. Story content which I won't spoil.
However, item weight is rather realistic, so in a game sense, it's rather obscene. You break down a few chairs and you're overburdened. You max out your carry weight and you can break twice as much before you're overburdened. That becomes a slog, as you can still move, but you are massively slowed down. It would be more beneficial to lower item weight to a third, if not more from what it is currently, at least in my opinion.

Power management is also a fun part of the game, as I love games like Factorio and Satisfactory. This does however also make me really want some automation in the game. You can already somewhat automate creating fuel for your ship, but that takes a lot of materials to make. There is also a location where you can make more fuel more efficiently, which helps a lot.

The quests were interesting enough, though one of the newest quests, the maze I think it was called, was not to my liking whatsoever. It completely broke 'immersion' in the game with it's wackiness, but I suppose it was fine as a sort of.. Break from the norm.

And as a side note, I did not know this game was made by a Finnish developer (I'm also Finnish), so finding the maps item, which displays the map of Finland and the Finnish flag paint was certainly an interesting surprise.

Overall the game has been great so far, if not a little clunky with combat and some movement/platforming. I am looking forward to more content to the game for certain.

7/10 at this point in Early Access. Would recommend to survival game enjoyers.

Taking a big point or two out of it because of the performance of the game. It has only crashed once for me so far, but it is running very poorly whenever there's combat. There's also late game story areas deep under water, which will stutter the game terribly every second until I move about 20-30 meters away from them. Though the game does run fine outside of combat and those areas. And by fine I mean 100 FPS+ on my system
