best mods for increasing fps

ive gotten to a point where the ammount of colonists is lagging my game when on 3x speed, any known mods for increasing fps?

Turning compatibility with windows vista & administrator rights + core selection (exclude core 0) helped me a lot- maybe it will help anyone else, and you could deselect texture compression in game settings

The game already has multithreading and each update adds more. They try to not break things.

It can, just be aware it can cause mod compatibility issues. For me, I had to stop using it due to it not working with bad hygiene.

To add to that, Rim73 is known to cause bugs just when it's the only thing enabled.

how do you mean that with core selection? how? is that also under .exe properties or somewhere else to set? I just hear for the first time. have searched a bit, but found nothing.

I found this also try setting its priority to high
