Description
RimThreaded greatly increases performance by multi threading the game.



IMPORTANT:
When RimThreaded updates, delete the "Caches" folder located in:

Steam:
Main:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2222907981\1.3\Assemblies\Caches
Experimental:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2652641362\1.3\Assemblies\Caches

Local:

Is it compatible with 1.3? in experemental RT i find that "The main RimThreaded mod is now back and up to date.Switch back to that one!"

I'm not Nikos (clearly lol) but Rocketman is a good one, as is Performance Fish. Aside from that, stuff like Toggleable Readouts and Toggleable Overlays. If you use any Pathfinding mods, Clean Pathfinding 2 is probably a better choice. If you really want help for a stable and fast running game nobody can provide you better help than the Dubs Mod Discord. They have a list of slow running mods and mods that'll do great for your performance.

Well, they may be starting with Pawn rendering, and may expand with future patches i hope?
But, a little question, do you have any performance mods that you would suggest to take a look on?
Only one i remember using, was Rocketman, and that was a looong time ago.

I don't see the point in this mod at all. The game broke 2 years ago, and it breaks today - right away, right away.

Got a list of other potential performance boosters, then?
Most I've found would be Rocketman and Performance Optimizer, that doesn't really seem like 'many.'

There has not been any active development for this mod in ages.

Its not even fully compatible with biotech, because of that. (Last i heard)

I have heard that the 1.5 multithreading is not actually all that good, and only affects pawn rendering.

The mod will remain as is, unless we get someone who is willing to pick up development again

There have been many new performance mods made since rimthreaded, i would recommend looking at those

Question to the Author.
With the 1.5 apparently incorporating Multithreading on the base game, will this mod be kept as an archive for ppl playing older versions?

After installing this mod to my existing save, a strange bug occured causing melee attacks not being able kill animals, basically making anyone trying to kill a downed animal (like hunting or raiders trying to kill a dyrad) attack them forever. The injury is stacked to seemingly infinite numbers and and even Kill command does not work.

I have 150 mods. This mod didn't break anything. FPS is super. CE works even though it swears. Install the RIMPY mod and the RIMPY app. I'm sure you're crashing the game because you don't have the correct order for loading mods. RIMPY fixes this. I have 150 mods, everything works, even there are no errors in the logs
