Truly a timeless masterpiece that will bring hopes and dreams to generations to come. This game will be the spark of a new revolution that will change life as we know it on our currently nekoless Earth. Through advanced gene editing using new found technologies involving CRISPR, we, nekoless plebians of this unfortunately nekoless universe, may too be able to experience the wonders of a nekoparadise with neko spanning as far as the eye can see. Sadly, I must concede that catgirls still share similarities with their human counterparts, the ever-elusive human female. I have never in my life felt the touch of a woman and such will likely be the case even with the introduction of catgirls into our planetary ecosystem... :( God, I'm so lonely. Please, God, why have you forsaken me?

If you put only $1 into your retirement fund the investor cut and the taxes will make it go negative. My retirement fund is currently at -$1,000. 11/10 would pay money on retirement again.

The Good
- Clean visuals with a aesthetically-pleasing cartoony artstyle
- Has that addictive "one more run" gameplay a lot of people are looking for
- Tutorial is really well made, albeit rather unnecessary (unless you're a game journalist LOL)

The Bad
- Dated platformer controls make for an artificially difficult experience
- Classes have very limited move-sets (usually just 1 attack and 1 skill per class)
- Almost every room is exceedingly cramped and cluttered, almost bullet-hell like
- Easily whittled down by the sheer barrage of traps and enemies, healing items are rare
- Heir system is uncreative (i.e. previous choices have no impact on the bloodline, etc.)
- Expected to grind Gold over dozens of runs to buy persistent upgrades in order to progress
- Upgrades involve no decision-making - just gradually buy everything
- Can't really make a "character build" - just keep selecting random characters each run
- Most of the randomized traits are annoying (i.e. anything that obscures vision)
- Doesn't do much more than the first game already did

The Ugly
- It's a 1-hour demo with a $20 pricetag (SEVERELY lacks content, even as Early Access)

Krita is a really cool painting application. I just started to mess around in the painting genre cause games have been getting boring lately. I found this software to be easier than others. It's worth the price.

I think it's pretty good. It's not perfect by any means, but you know what, that's okay.

*I was very skeptical about buying this as I saw how the devs released the game with some missing features and content.*

I have experienced NO BUGS and NO CRASHES. It runs VERY smooth at 50-60 FPS steady on high graphics for me.

I played the tutorial campaign mission, the first mission for Polania, and 3 skirmishes so far (1 as each faction).

The sounds in the game are really good and crisp, the graphics are absolutely beautiful, the gameplay is a hell of a lot of fun. I saw some users complain about enemy ai being dumb or unit ai being bad - that is not true in my opinion. I think they are in fact exactly what I expected. Just as good as other games in the genre.

Also, the music is really good so that is a plus.

The campaign is really awesome, meaningful, and the cut-scenes are phenomenal.

There are only a few maps for skirmish and multiplayer but they said they are adding them and the maps are pretty cool, so I don't mind replaying them a bit.

I don't know if it's completely justifiable yet for $50, but it will be once they add the rest of the features, more maps, and more content all around.

It plays very much like Company of Heroes and that is enjoyable. The mechs are awesome.

Honestly, I like it a lot.

The devs said they are still working to add more maps, content, coop campaign, ranked MP, and so on. I'm fine with that.

NOTE: People complained that you can't build sandbags and other defenses... YES you can.

CS:GO Review
I think they should definitely have selected another name for the game, for example Need for Speed Shift 3, now it's very misleading. Based on Project Cars 2, I expected that concept to be further developed in the weak areas of PC2, like handling/physics and steering wheel force feedback, and continuing on the strengths like tons of cars and tracks and nice immersion in VR

I really don't want to be harsh on the game, I wanted to like it but it's just not for me. don't get me wrong, the game is really pretty and the story might be also really interesting, but I can't seem to force myself to play long enough to discover it. I am sure there are plenty of people that do enjoy it but here are my reasons for the thumbs down:

-the controls are very clunky, almost feels like you are walking on ice most of the time. This problem immediately gets solved when you encounter a ladder, as your character will then decide to stick to the ground like a piece of gum and not climb down it until you position yourself perfectly on top of it (which proves bit difficult when you are sliding all over the place)
-as the steam page says there is full controller support. except you can't rebind your keys and the default mapping is really uncomfortable to play with.
-the game has a curse system which it mildly annoying. to my knowledge there is nothing you can do to prevent from gaining a curse, or to trigger getting one. the longer you keep going the higher the chance you will get one (and you can grow quite the collection of them)
-game is a rogue-like combined with metroidvania, aka you have a map that never changes, but if you die you get booted right back to the beginning hub and lose all of your active items, weapons, armor and spells.
there are certain points on the map that unlock fast travel for you though, so I guess that is nice.
-bosses. to my knowledge there is about 19 of them. except you don't even have to fight them (I only played about 3 hours of this game, and I only needed to beat the tutorial boss in order to progress. I found out that some of them you can just walk past their room and never return.)
now the rooms are all designed to be traversed from one side to the other (depending on how they are positioned on the map) so backtracking to a boss later doesn't work in most cases or is awkward to do. especially if you have a teleport point discovered after the boss arena.
-now this is mostly a personal gripe, but if I am given a platformer game, I expect to have a jump button. there is no jump in this game.

all of these should be taken more like "first impressions" than a review, since I only sank 3ish hours into the game. though if in first 3 hours I haven't found anything worth coming back to, then I don't think it will get any better from here on out.
