Yeah I own a gaming laptop. What are you gonna do about it?
Maple is my favorite Neko for obvious reasons. American Curls are a really cute breed of cat in general, easily in the top 5 alongside British Shorthairs, Himalayans, Scottish Folds, and Ragdolls.

Specs:

CPU = Intel Core i7 10875H

GPU = Nvidia RTX 2080 Super with Max Q

RAM = 32 GBs

Motherboard = MS-1541

SSD = 1 TB Samsung

Monitor = 16:9 300 Hz Full HD

I could probably fry an egg on the bottom of this thing after running skyrim with 738 mods installed for a few hours ngl.

Never actually wrote a review for this game, which is odd as I slowly approach 1000 hours in both the original and special edition combined. Might as well start now though

I'll strongly argue with anyone that this is by all accounts the greatest single player game ever created. Period. Skyrim gets way more flack than it deserves, but there's probably a reason it's one of the best selling games of all time.

For one, you can literally do almost anything you want. Want to be the dragonborn, mighty warrior and savior of tamriel and some other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Sure go right ahead. Wanna larp as an overpowered master of the arcane arts? You gotcha. Wanna play as grog the retarded orc and just hit ♥♥♥♥ until it dies? Have at it. How about bloodedge the assassin of the night and haver of daddy issues? Sure why not. Best of all, there's next to nothing in the game you can't do right away. If you decide ♥♥♥♥ the main quest i'm going to go larp in the thieves guild for 30 levels, that's totally acceptable. Hell, if you're like me and have next to every single quest memorized by this point you can just create a new character and do whatever ones you feel like. Scaling enemies combined with an open world combined with next to no restrictions on what you can do is something rarely seen in gaming.

Next and very important. IT'S IN FIRST PERSON. HOW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HARD IS IT TO MAKE GAMES IN FIRST PERSON? LOOKING AT YOU WITCHER SERIES. God it's so immersion breaking. BOTW gets a pass tho

Which leads me to my next point, immersion. Bethesda games kick ass at this, and with a little bit of modding, you can turn this game into an almost lifelike world you can use to escape the more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and slightly graphically better real world. I once became so immersed in this game after playing for like 30 hours straight I got up and went to my kitchen to go find an alchemy table, taking like 15 minutes to realize I wasn't in skyrim world anymore, and feeling like a massive tard in the process. Point is, if you want to escape into something better, here's the game.

Another good point. Mods. Everyone loves mods, except when they make your game drop frames and crash harder than the space shuttle columbia. But with a little know how and a lot of patience, you can have next to anything you want added to the game. We're talking train dragons, 2000 nazeems, a big nazeem, obscure texture upscaling mods on a single object you never actually look at, and most importantly, tiddy mods. So many tiddy mods. These mods allow you to take control of the game for yourself, adding and removing features at your will. I tend to be more vanilla purist and only use texture mods. Other's disagree. Who cares, because they're 10 billion different ways to customize the game.

And after all of this, people still give this game flack. "Well...it's not hard enough" Doesn't matter, go get a mod, increase difficulty, or in my case enjoy being the power hungry ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god amongst mortals you are. You're the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dragonborn, not olaf no ♥♥♥♥. Of course you'll lay siege to some stupid bandits, you have like 10 daggers of some daedric princes that do nothing but ♥♥♥♥ with people for a living. "Oh but the quests suck, and there aren't as many!" Again, no ♥♥♥♥. It was easier to make a metric ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of "high level writing" quests when everything was text and a couple of images to cover the "Videogame" part of the marketing. I played plenty of morrowind as a kid, and I can tell you for a fact half the quests were just "Go find this nondescript tree in the middle of the sand and then make 6 left turns and go down then fly upwards and fetch me some shrooms" Yea ♥♥♥♥ off with that, the game does plenty fine with balancing gameplay all things considered. And the perk system kicks ass too. No more useless "spear" or "efficiency of the left thigh guard" leveling, it's grouped together conveniently into something useful.

I'll say it a billion times over. The world needs more games like this. Until then i'll keep playing Skyrim.
