Got this game for free when I got my 4080, and honestly... I'd prefer if I didn't get anything. Everything is so bad. The combat, the environment is so ugly, unimaginative talent tree, really stupid AI, uninspired open world, and optimization is so bad. Unless they make major fixes, this game is NOT, NOT, worth picking up. I'm so pissed I got this for free.

Got this game December 24th, 2022 , 712 hours as of march 26th 2023. It will consume your life, 1000/10 game. It really consumes your time, mods improve it, stress comes with it, the finale is always worth it.

Is good, optimization needs work but the game play is fun. Bashing hordes of enemies has never felt so crunchy.

Edit:

I wrote this a year ago for the reward. But for my updated review after the latest update.

They fixed so many of the problems and gameplay loop they had from the update. Talent trees was a great idea, weapon verity is awesome, class distinction is fantastic, and the environment is just great to look at. They did Warhammer justice, besides Space Marine, this is the game Warhammer fans have been waiting for in the modern age.

Monetization is bad, extremely expensive cosmetics, but you can ignore it. Its not obnoxious like Overwatch does it, but just as expensive. Theres plenty of other cosmetics (Abet a little dull) that is available to unlock through playing.

Optimization could still use some tweaks, its better than before but it still needs fixes.

If you were turned off by the game when it first came out, give it another chance, especially with friends. Its fun, I enjoyed it and how it brought itself back to popularity.

Good job Fat Shark.

ROCK. AND. STONE. Great Multiplayer game, even going solo its fun. Its aesthetically pleasing to see, not demanding in specs, very fun gameplay, tense mining operations. Theres alot to offer in this game, highly recommend it.

A game I was on and off following its development, since I was a fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series I was excited to see a developer take up the mantle of another Chernobyl environment type game. The mystery, the eeriness, the environment, it was what would scratch my S.T.A.L.K.E.R. itch. I preordered and played only a few hours in early access, giving me a taste of what the game had to offer but didnt want to spoil the whole game for myself, so I waited until the full release.

And this game held up as its own story to tell, dont compare it to S.T.A.L.K.E.R., it is its own game to be proud of. I dont need to give the details of whats going on in the game, the trailers can do that. You need to experience it for yourself, uncover the clues of what happened after this timelines Chernobyl incident, step into the dangerous zone with any and all dangers ahead, come well equipped, and craft wisely. Perhaps there are other games like this, but for me, there was nothing like it. This game has consequences, so choose wisely on your options, it will affect the outcome of your journey.

If you're looking for a S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-esq open world survival, it is not that. But it captures the dread and danger just as well, I highly recommend it, the story it shares is something you must play for yourself.

I wasted a decent amount of time on this game, not WoW level of consuming but I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love my Warrior. I met many friends here, customization is pretty good. The end game is glam hunting. 10/10 MMO.

Game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard, but its so good. Still need better optimization, but it scratches that WWII shooter itch. Still in beta, but its coming along nicely.

RIP AND TEAR, DOOM Eternal takes the previous Doom and not only improves on the game play but it enchances it. Its faster, more violent, and more fluid. This game doesnt get boring from start to finish (Unless you're hunting for the hidden stuff) and its just a load of fun. Always keep moving, never stop. Keep shooting, keep killing demons. RIP AND TEAR.

With constant updates, fun gory game play, and a decent leveling progression, this game is worth its price. Even better if you get it on sale. Absolutely love this game, been playing it since release.
