Deep Storage Plus

This is an extension mod to Deep Storage, adding a series of storage buildings that are carefully designed and balanced to fit in the gaps of the options provided by LWM's Deep Storage without bloating the Storage tab. Each storage building follows the rule of "more specific = more capacity".

Buildings

Organ Fridge: 120 steel, 3 components. Stores up to 16 body parts, 8 per cell. Does not require electricity, because organs don't go bad so there wouldn't be a point. Requires Machining and Air Conditioning to unlock.

Barrel: 120 wood, 25 metallic stuff. Stores up to 8 stacks of one type of liquid (chemfuel, milk, wort, beer, psychite tea, go juice). Also supports Vanilla Expanded Brewing drinks. Other mods can be supported on request. You can only store one kind of liquid in it at a time, because it's a barrel. Requires Complex Furniture to unlock.

Firewood Rack: 60 wood, 150 buildable stuff. Stores up to 14 stacks of wood, 7 per tile. Also prevents deterioration. Requires Complex Furniture to unlock. Due to the rendering method, they look slightly wonky when densely placed, so keep that in mind. Who needs more than a couple thousand wood, anyways.

Bin: 100 buildable stuff. Stores up to 6 stacks of loose resources, but is faster to use than the skip. Can also only store one type of item at a time. Currently supports raw food, raw plants, textiles, drugs, pemmican, kibble, herbal medicine. Open to adding more items on request. Requires Machining to unlock.

Mod Compatibility
Vanilla Brewing Expanded: Can store all finished drinks. Doesn't store musts or mashes.
Expanded Woodworking: Can store all wood logs and wood lumber in the firewood rack.
Bodyparts Rot or Rah's Bionics and Surgery Expansion or Medical System Expansion 2: If Rim Fridge is also loaded, will make Organ Fridges actually refrigerate, take power, be flickable, break down, etc.
VGP Garden Drinks UF: Can store all Garden Sodas and Garden Alcohol. Doesn't store precursors. The patch probably works for the non-UF VGP, too.
Simple Chains: Lumber, Steel, Leather: Can store all lumber types plus Firewood in the Firewood Rack. Can store tanning precursor in the barrel. Can store iron ore in the bin.
[TRAHS]Blood: Raw blood is storable in barrels.
Dubs Bad Hygiene: Fecal sludge is storable in barrels, and biomatter is storable in bins.
[TRAHS]Milkrats: All milks are storable in the barrel.
VFME - Simple Tofu!: Tofu milk is storable in the barrel. Tofu and Tofu Cheese are storable in the bin.
Pawnmorpher: Mechanite slurry and cowmorph milk are storable in the barrel.

@Atari 2600 that baby was born over a year ago xD that doesn't really classify as 'just" anymore does it haha

I know it isn't officially updated for 1.6 yet, but is it still currently relatively safe to use regardless?

So LWM's Deep Storage is out of date, and will be for a while (just had a baby)...does this rely on it, or totally separate? If separate, would there be any way you can add in what her version had? Thanks for considering. :)

Any chance this great mod will be updated to 1.6?

Awesome mod. I've used it in countless playthroughs. The storage mods were some of the first I ever installed, and since they were so well-balanced, they never ruined the vanilla feel for me.
Lately, though, I've switched over to the Adaptive Storage series.
So yeah — massive thanks for all the time I was able to keep my storage under control thanks to this mod!:hardhat:

for some reason, the organ cooler does not stop the rotting of organs (all necessary mods are enabled, I did not find any settings to activate this function)

So long Deep Storage, it was nice while it lasted. Adaptive Storage is more performance friendly and has the unbeatable feature of stacks being visually represented based on how full it is.

I know it wasn't your mod originally but thanks for the work o7
