[KV] RimFridge

Description
Adds refrigerated racks to keep food and other perishables cold. Ideal for use in dining rooms, freeing up labor from feeding prisoners, or keeping food on hand for cooks.

Floor based RimFridges come in 1x1, 2x1 and 2x2 versions
Wall based RimFridges come in 1x1 and 2x1 versions.

Prisoners can use refrigerators

RimFridges can now act like hoppers when placed next to Nutrient Paste Dispensers.
Only the cells adjacent to the Dispenser will work. See the fourth screen shot for more information.

Kown Mod Conflicts
- Realistic Power will cause fridges to read -3000 C. To fix this use "Turn It On and Off" https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1530276152 instead of Realistic Power

Known Issue
If the fridges no longer keep what they're storing cooled try moving this mod higher in the mod load order.

(maybe someone is sneaking into the fridge to steal a cold beer... and then replacing it with a warm one from another stockpile) :)

I've beer and VGP alcohol in some refrigerators, they have power, they are set to -11F, and they never seem to go below 70F. Is this a bug with this or Thermodynamics?

@Schadenfreude, are the wall fridges in the prison cells themselves?
I ask because meals inside cells already (which include wall fridges in the cell walls) are considered by the game to be "reserved for prisoners" so your wardens will not take from those to feed an incapacitated prisoner.

You need a storage location that is NOT inside a cell for your wardens to draw from when they need to.

I have starving priosners.

They are all set to get Simple Meals.

I have exactly 20 Simple Meals, which are all stored in a wall fridge.

Trying to manually tell a Warden to feed a malnoutrishened prisoners gives me the "no food" comment in the float menu.

I then tell the pawn to pick the meals up manually from the freezer, now I can feed the prisoners.

It looks like Wardens will issue food into the cell for them to feed themselves, but they won't be able to feed a starving one in bed.

Sir Evans, just make a zone for selling stuff in Hospitality, that includes cells of these fridges - and bingo, guests buy things from a rimfridge

I'm using Dubs to create a walk-in fridge so technically I don't need this mod, but the aesthetic of having a separate refrigerator is just so good I can't help but love this mod :P

@jasestriker, that's because Deep Storage moves them to the "storage" category unless you turn that feature of it off in settings.

The wall fridges were not showing up in the Temperature build menu . I disabled Deep storage and they showed back up.
