Just a group of roads and expressways that are low impact on your game.
Important facts:
- rendered tunnels with traffic (on roads with tunnel elevation)
- road deck on elevated sections is 2 meters thick ( vanilla game road decks are 3.7 thick)
- none of my roads have a bridge elevation in an effort to make the file as small as possible.
- All of my roads ans expressways use the same texture.


I just wanted to make a set of expressways and roads that meet my needs and have a low impact on my game's performance. I hope you like them too.

Sorry about the need for mass transit, but I used the 4 lane expressway for many of my expressways.

Oh and for the bridges, I just use the elevated version and I like to add in other bridge assets to make them look amazing. Works perfect.

By far the ultimate best highways in the workshop!!!!! Many types PLUS they all join together perfectly. Some even have the nodes showings lane lines. Fantastic! Amazing. The connections are nice and tight and smooth. Just can't say enough good things. Well done!

@propermike - look at highway over wall set, he solved that. the problem with his roads is that because he is from italy the segment have no lights..

@t1a2l - All the segments have lights. Nodes can't have lights. If you strech the nodes out, you will end up with a small section without lights. As far as I know there is no way to avoid that. Just one of the little annoyances of the game I'm afraid.

@propermike - if you are creating an intersection, and there is on off ramp from the road, will they connection have lights? i am currently using clus highways but they lack that, but they do have sound barrier versions.

@tia2l - The lights are vanilla light props from the game, and yes, they are part of the road. You don't have to manually place them. Have not made roads with sound barriers. Maybe later.

@propermike - Hey, does the roads have lights when connected with other roads of the same set? (in the first picture did you add the lights manually?) also do you have roads with sound barriers?
