Move It 2.8.0

Compatible with Cities Skylines 1.13.1-f1 (Sunset Harbor)

This mod allows you to select, move and align various things.

Read the Move It User Guide for more information!

New in 2.8.0
- Redesigned Toolbox menu - formerly More Tools, this is redesigned with new icons by Bad Peanut.
- Line Tool - Line up all selected objects in a straight line between the 2 furthest apart selected objects, and evenly space them out (Shift+click icon to line up without changing spacing). If Follow Terrain is off, the objects will also be vertically aligned.
- Slope Align changed - Slope Align now also automatically uses the 2 furthest apart selected objects to define the slope. To use the old method of manually selecting the A/B points, Shift+Click the tool icon.
- Set Position Tool - Enter exact coordinates (of the centre-point) and angle to move the selection to that point.
- Transport Paths - Move or delete paths for ships, aircraft, ferries, helicopters and more.
- Options - Redesigned options page, with keyboard shortcuts available for every tool.
- and More! - The Mirror Tool now mirrors PO's position; Rotate at-Centre now aligns networks; keyboard movement now set to 2m exactly; Shift key usage should be more reliable on Linux; rare terrain corruption fixed; new keyboard shortcut to deselect everything (default: Alt+D); unselected PO now not highlighted by default; Toolbox menu now doesn't auto-close by default.

Use the M key to toggle the tool or click the button (draggable with right click) next to the bulldoze tool.

Hold the Shift key to select multiple objects to move at once.

The following objects can be selected with Left Click:
- Buildings
- Trees
- Props (Get Prop Snapping to be able to move up/down. Props that conform to terrain can not be raised/lowered.)
- Decals
- Surfaces (brushes and ploppable surfaces)
- Network nodes and segments (roads, quays, etc...)
- Procedural Objects (requires the Procedural Objects mod)

This tool doesn't provide any limitations for maximum power. Use at your own risk.

Read the Move It User Guide for more information!

Does not use the detour technique for maximum compatibility.
Does not alter game save files in any way and can be disabled/removed safely at any time.

You can see the assets in exported XML with Deehek's Asset List Generator[] tool.

Thanks to my beta testers for their testing and suggestions, especially Deeheks and Leader of the Monkeys[]. Workshop graphics by the handsome James Chapman[] and some icons by Bad Peanut. Special thank you to Boogieman Sam for creating Move It and other indispensable mods.

Could you add a remove object" button to the toolbar, I need to get rid of a broken asset that cannot be bulldozed. It must have been removed from the workshop.

@Quboid - Yes, a Sunset Harbor helicopter with path and line, complete "vanilla", if you wanna say so. I can't remember if there was a helicopter on that spot, but I don't think so.

@Quboid - thanks for the reply. I try to keep key binds to a minimum, and play mostly with mouse clicks rather than keyboard short cuts - different play styles. Nearly everyone uses the last two points, or just those who wanted the change? Anyway it's your mod, one of the best, you can do what you think is needed, and it's a small issue. Thanks for the good work.

Thanks for the comments!

@Danoir_ - There's an option to keep the menu open.

@paddy vienna - Uh oh! To be clear, this is a Sunset Harbor helicopter path with a helicopter line defined to use it? Was there a helicopter at the spot you moved?

@Wyaston Hypatia - Nearly everyone uses the 2 furthest apart points so I think this would be over-engineering. As well as shift+clicking the tool icon, you can set a keyboard shortcut for the old method.

I like the new way to align slopes now. Mark all nodes (also start and beginning node), which you want to align and then click the align button in the new drop down menu. (imo the older menu was much better)

I am having a problem with the new feature of moving helicopter "routes". I moved one route with an existing helicopter line on it and the game crashed.

everything else works fine for me. thanks for the update. :steamhappy:

Can I suggest that the tool menu stays open permanently? Having to reopen it every time after using one of the tools is a little annoying. Love the update overall, though.

On the whole I don't mind the rearrangement, however for Slope alignment - please add an option to permanently toggle the tool to the old method.
