Node Controller Renewal 3.3.3

Description




Overview
    This mod allows you change node type and shape

This is renewal version of original Node Controller by kian.zarrin with improved UI/UX.
The new UI allows you to make the perfect intersection with just a few clicks.

Node Controller Renewal supports importing original Node Controller data, but not completely. Some intersections may require manual adjustment.
To start use Node Controller Renewal you should disable original Node Controller and subscribe to Harmony
WARNING: If you import data from original Node Controller and make new save, you will no longer be able to use the original Node Controller on this map.



What’s Included
  • Change node type and shape.
  • Make intersection sloped.
  • Change segment ends offset, shift, rotate, twist, slope and stretch.
  • Alignment of roads with each other.
  • Add Crosswalks and UTurns.
  • Hide crosswalk markings (required Hide Crosswalk mod)
  • Move It integration.
  • Save data in intersection assets.
  • Translation into languages: Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish



How activate
  1. Press Ctrl+N (You can change binding shortcut in mod settings)
  2. Open Road panel and press button

  3. Use UnifiedUI mod



Support
If you have any problems with mod or errors occur, you should describe your problem as much detailed as possible, comments like “mod does not work” will be ignored.
Also, you should provide the game log, comments about errors without game log will be ignored too. Read here how to share log.

Although, the best way to solve problems is joining to my discord and write to #Support channel, unfortunately, steam comments is very useless for conversation.

Hi @ all
Since this game version, I have the problem that the nodes between two different road segments are much lighter than the road segments.

For example, if I connect a 4-lane highway with a 5-lane highway (or with an exit), the (segment of) node is much lighter than the actual road.

How can I fix this color difference?

It just lacks a way to hide the default road lane marking and this mod would be perfect.

@Numenor For deleting nodes (and many other handy uses) I use Network Multitool 1.3.3 .

Is there anyway to delete a node in this mod? Cause I see the option to insert nodes in a segment but no option to undo it?

@GodwinLin I'm no expert, but based on the vast number of similar reports in all mods, I'd recommend you subscribe to Compatibility Report v2.3.0 , enable it in your game, and press the "Generate Report" then "Open Report" buttons (assuming the path is valid) and check that all your mods play together nicely. That mod has saved me much time vs. poring over various links to "...mods compatible with xxx version..." lists, and I check its reports and those of Loading Screen Mod regularly.

If that doesn't work, you may be asked to post your output_log.txt here, as the text you posted seems to be useless for modders' debugging. But first, check the Compatibility Report.

Will this ever include other network types? I use Node Controller for paths, canals, quays, fences, and such so having an update that can only handle some network types is unfortunate.
