Ahoy!
Before we begin, thanks to our modding community for creating all those awesome mods & guides. Without their hard work it would be impossible for me to create my assets.(i have neither coding, nor 3d modeling knowledge)

I have an active Island project going on in Cities Skylines (created by me 3 years ago, custom map with different real life location height maps combined). I am using nearly 150 mods with 8000 assets loaded. My island does not include any ground land connection. No hidden car or rail routes, just sea and Plane connections.
I have always dreamed about living marinas, boats sailing around. I was dreaming about boats sailing freely without me messing with public transport routes or selecting every route 1 by 1. Thanks to Colossal Order with SUNSET HARBOR expansion, the dream i have since the first game now came true!!

Information, DLCs, Helpful Mods & Assets

Information & DLCs:
  • This assets created by converting Fishing Harbor building which came default with Sunset Harbor DLC so you gonna need it. For the lights you gonna need After Dark as well.
  • Since i have all of the DLC Colossal Order released so i am not sure which DLC you need other than Sunset Harbor.
  • As i mentioned earlier this assets created without any coding so i dont think anybody will have problem while using it.
  • As a pack, they are 2mb so i dont think anyone needs triangle etc. info about them (literally no triangles)
  • I used fishing harbor because when i tried to use other fishing buildings or mess with other buildings, ai selection and tried to convert them either it stopped working or my game spammed error, on the other hand i tried to keep it simple. So until more experienced modders find a better solution this looks the easiest and simplest one.
  • It uses default in game mechanic, as long as you have fancy boat models that uses Fishing Boat ai this thing will change your bays into 'cim's favorite" sailing route.

Helpful Mods:
If you ask my opinion the addons i am going to list now are "Must have!" , but it is your choice. (SH Compatible mods as of April 2nd, 2020)

Must have Assets:

TLDR
- No more empty marinas, your cims will / can sail with their boats.
- Spawns yachts and boats automatically. (close to default game stat not to overcrowd seas)
- Any Workshop content that is uploaded as Fishing Boat will work
- It is a Fishing Harbor, but does not need any fishing industry.

NOTE:
- If you have any problems with these (higly unlikely since my game still running for the last 10 hours (150 mods 8000 assets) without any problems. (Old save)), i will try my best to help you.
- Any problems with models, let me say again. I did not edit any model or stats, so i cant help.

I do not remember at the moment, but i believe i set to fish generation to 0.

Thanks for these! anyway these could generate actual fish as well? seems like the storage is always empty.

unless you forgot to activate Service Vehicle Selector mod, you should see them not only with my marina buildings but also with default fishing harbor as well.

I've subscribed to service vehicle selector mod and your yacht and boat spawner mod. However, I can't pick and choose the boat to spawn in game. Any help?

Map is custom map (just test map created by me years ago with using real world height maps from 4 different locations). Theme is Seychelles theme :) but little customized with Theme Mixer (hope the name is right). Color Correction is Seychelles. Yup they are all activated.
You can check the link above that says "My Gigantic CS Collection. Go to 2nd one "0.1 Color & Lut etc" all of them are there :D

Hi I was wondering what LUTS and map themes you are using for your island? Do you have all of them activated at once?

@Vecihi Hurkus C* \o/ :steamhappy: I tried to make them act like touristic buildings, as soon as i change anything related with AI, game stops spawning boats, so i gave up. You can add sub buildings (like my marina assets) but of course i do not now any way to spawn the boats as cims use the building.
