[WOTC] Chemthrower Addons

Description
What is this?
This mod adds a new main chemthrower, with 3 tiers, that have a chance to drop from the CX Purifiers and CX Purifier Captains. These weapons will drop as 'corpse loot' and as thus can only be collected on missions that corpses can be collected on.
The weapons have the dark black looks of the CX Purifier Flamers but can be tinted.

Also adds two new unique chemthrowers that can be dropped from a CX Bio Division Bio Mec Trooper. These unique weapons have a green look and can shoot either acid or poison.

They can be used by anyone that can use Chemthrowers, and thus you will need a dedicated class/user such as My Alchemist Class or Proficiency Field Alchemist Class. As long as you have Mitzruti's Base Immolator/Chemthrower Mod and classes that can use the Chemthrower Weapon Type, you will have classes that use these.

Adds a proving ground project after Heavy Plasma/Beam Cannon weapons have been researched that has a chance to give one of these new chemthrowers also, as a backup incase you haven't found any in drops OR don't wish to use the expanded enemies.
The project gives superior tier chemthrowers and includes the Cryolator if you have Bitterfrost Protocol .

Adds an OPTIONAL proving ground project to make all canisters come from an experimental project. Defaults to not active.

I highly advise that the required mods be subbed to first.

Config
Most weapon and ability values can be adjusted in the XComXenolator.ini config file
The drop source can be configured to drop from the standard Purifier or Purifier Captains, defaults to both.
The drop rates can be configured in the XComGameCore.ini file

Tintable weapon models are enabled by default for Xenolators. New models are enabled for Immolators and Cryolators.
Can be toggled back to old models in the config (including toggling Immolators and Cryolators to tintable models).
The tintable weapons will start out with the default colour set in your ini's (likely highlander config, either a beige or black)

Known Issues
  • Configure Upgrade Slots . This mod will mean that you will not be able to attach 'normal' weapon upgrades to chemthrowers, they can use the special made attachments instead. Allowed attachments for chemthrowers have now changed, making this issue obsolete.
  • Sometimes visualization of some chemthrower abilities glitches out, they still work functionally but don't display a stream-jet.
  • SPARK Arsenal and Iridars Immolator Overhaul will allow any soldier carrying a Chemthrower to get an Auxiliary Weapon Slot for the sole purpose of carrying a Canister if they do not have a canister equipped in another slot.
  • Iridars Immolator Overhaul Also changes the archytype of Immolators. To get these two mods to work together, you need to make adjustments to this mods config files.
    The XComXenolator.ini needs to be set to NOT update Immolator models.
  • Special chemthrower attacks (like Medispray, Fumigate and Fulmination) all take their cone sizes from the 'Immolator', the default ranges of these chemthrowers might not match
  • Grimy's Loot Mod conflicts with Improved Weapon Upgrade UI
    You CAN use this mod without the Weapon Upgrade UI Tool if you wish to use Grimy's Loot Mod, it simply means that your chemthrowers won't align correctly in the Weapon Upgrade Menu....

It would be the same style of thing.. the Fumigate (and other) perk names need to be added to the config file for +QUICKBURN_ABILITIES.

Adjusting more perks is outside the scope of this mod, but it should be a simple quick fix in your Arsonist configs, you just need the internal perk names...

Looks like whatever change you made fixed the issue, at least for the Xenolator. The standard shot, wide shot and directed shot all trigger off Quickburn, so that's good. Fumigate still doesn't, but that's more to do with the base Chemthrower mod. Cheers for fixing that

I see... Kiruka added the base Immolator perks to the list of valid abilities for Quickburn ... I've done the same for these, with zero testing done. Please unsub/resub and then let me know if this fixes your issue @Soulfire72

I don't think gauntlet perks work with chemthrowers. But if they did it wouldn't be something that this mod handles.

Playing Mod Jam LWOTC - just got my Arsonist to Gunnery Sergeant and the Hotshot ability's Quickburn doesn't work with the Superior Xenolator. Are there specific config tweaks I need to make to get Quickburn to work with the Superior Xenolator?
