22 April 2020 Update

Trolls
  • Increased troll speed
  • Increased knockdown cooldown
  • Fixed some sounds
  • Made troll pushback slightly random
  • Improved troll pushback, fixed a few bugs;

30 March 2020 Update

Shader & Visuals
  • Improve and fix the lensflare/eyeglare
  • Use Warband's soft particle shaders
  • Improve the progress bar shader and geometry with some fade-out and organic movement effects.
  • Implement muddy water for some scenes
  • Added instanced shaders where applicable, might help performance
  • Replaced dot3 shaders which seem to be causing invisibility problems on Linux and Mac

Trolls
  • Added Capture Troll quest to Dol Guldur lord; reduced rank reward
  • Capture troll quest now gives faction trolls as reward, but they can't be armoured.
  • Reduced troll HP and HP shields, made savegame compatible
  • Increased damage dealt by spears
  • Reduced horse scare chance
  • Slightly lowered troll armour
  • Fixed troll halberd position
  • Improved Mordor and Isen Olog textures
  • Fixed troll skeletons for old savegames
  • Add no_pickup property to 1 troll weapon
  • Attempt to fix troll stats for old savegames (some issues, like headless trolls, can't be fixed but won't inhibit your gameplay.)

Misc

Troops & Items
  • Armour variants for Rivendell and Dale swordsmen;
  • Improved Beorning and Woodmen armours, made imod variants
  • Variants for Rivendell shields
  • Fixed some glove positions
  • Renamed a few troops and items
  • Applied remains of Sn0uz' asset pack; added some missing normal maps
  • Improved Rivendell armour texture and normal map
  • New reward items for Dale, Isengard, Dunland

  • New, slightly less anorexic female frames for Beornings, Mirkwood, Rivendell
  • Made Dunland Raven Riders a Night troop, moved them up two tiers

Troll improvements
  • Recruitable trolls: After reaching rank 4, you can recruit trolls in orc faction capital barracks. After reaching rank 6, you can have them armoured in the capital smithy.
  • Implemented faction specific trolls
  • Nerfed blunt damage against trolls
  • Made riding skill affect troll horse scare;
  • Lowered troll upkeep

Scene fixes
  • Fixed water height for some coastal outer terrains
  • Fixed coll mesh for Beorn's house interior
  • Added Grima back to Isengard center
  • Made Mirkwood fern a bit flatter
  • Tuned down Minas Morgul light flicker

Other fixes and improvements
  • Fixed a bug with troll attacks (self-perpetuating trigger);
  • Fixed Osgiliath reinforcement bug (hopefully)
  • Fix to Cair Andros smith not switching faction when conquered
  • Make night bandits charge at the player
