Troops and Items
  • Add damage bonus for javelins against trolls
  • Slightly rebalance throwing weapons
  • Overhaul shield stats (more comparable, generally more armour and less hp)
  • Overhaul Companion stats loosely based on regular player stat progression, rebalance rank and influence requirements
  • Add more orc weapons, credit to Khazad mod
  • Allow orcs to ride giant warg
  • Reward item changes
  • Add more berserker armours
  • Implement bow + shield mechanic, allow certain bows to be used with small shields, with an accuracy debuff
  • Give double quivers to some archers

Visuals
  • Use native earth texture for deserts (adjusted normal map)
  • Maybe fix Khamul helmet transparency issue on some systems
  • Vertex animations for throwing weapons thanks to HelloMiffy

Gameplay and Fixes
  • Give a few free wp points after battles, based on agility and battle size

  • Slightly adjust troop level for high-tier orcs and trained trolls

  • Fix a bug that would cause faction strength swaps for certain quests.
  • Fix attempt to New Formations to prevent troops from moving backwards when ordered to hold somewhere.

  • Base conditions for giving lord commands on rank+relation; remove trait conditions for some factions, adjust trait descriptions
  • Enable "commence siege assault" command for marshalls
  • Scale influence cost for lord commands with relation
  • Maybe prevent troublesome bandits from being attacked by allies;
  • Add missing Dale armours to stores.

Balance and gameplay
  • Base advance camp respawn chance on faction strength
  • New formula for merchant money and imod quality of merchandise, taking into account rank, center relation, and trade skill;
  • Reduce base amount of loot
  • Adjust metal scraps value and abundance
  • Adjust rank gain formula (defeated party type and size weigh in more); also introduced some side asymmetry (good side profit more from fighting with allies, evil side are punished less for losing troops)
  • Improve pre-war balance by reducing amount of scouts spawned by major factions; re-enable pre-war warg scouts (look out!); rebalanced most scout parties
  • Adjust number of volunteers and volunteer training (more weight on leadership instead of rank); chance for high-level volunteers to be removed from recruit pool
  • Higher hiring cost for high-level troops
  • Reduce compensation you get for reinforcing parties to avoid exploit; adjust party reinforcement limits by party type and faction;

Quests
  • Fix "defend refugees" quest winning conditions (you can now finish the quest if you've lost one or two refugee parties); also fix theater assignment for correct raider parties
  • Add/Improve level scaling for "defend refugees" and "dispatch scout party" quests;
  • Fix train troops quest level scaling; fix reward for alternate mode

Scenes
  • More scene pathing fixes (Mirkwood scenes, some siege scenes)
  • Fix Dale wall collision mesh
  • Bunch of scene improvements: Less undergrowth in small Mirkwood scenes, improved pathing and collision in Edoras siege
  • Optimise collision meshes for some trees (maybe helps with performance in Mirkwood scenes); fix one tree missing its bark material (load order related)
  • Slightly reduce density for fern grass, remove big fern mesh from the grass entry (hopefully avoid "too many vertices" crash on Mirkwood maps);
  • Reset some material shaders to avoid flickering and visual bugs (mostly Esgaroth)
  • Add greenish haze in Mirkwood scenes

Items
  • Some item adjustments for Mirkwood, new light helm variants, correct wrist position for some armours

  • Fixed a bug that would cause a duplicate player to appear in some scenes. This bug would only appear in new games started with the latest revision from earlier today. Please start a new game.
  • Adjust number of volunteers and volunteer training.
  • Pull latest translation changes from Transifex; covering es, it, ko, pt-BR, ru and tr.

Gameplay

  • Companions level up faster.
  • Add some level scaling to garrison training.
  • Finding town NPCs gives some rank and relation reward instead of XP.
  • Home faction rank and influence bonus.
  • Increased INT bonus for after-battle shared XP (set to exponential).
  • Shifted some faction strength income from Gundabad to Rhun.
  • Train volunteers, scaling with number of volunteers formula.

Troops and Items
  • Slightly more ironflesh for dwarves.

  • Mossy rock props by Zachary Foster.

Mount&Blade 1.011 improvements
  • Fix loading the mod on M&B 1.011.
  • Fix the eyeglare on M&B 1.011.
  • Avoid crashing to desktop when returning to the main menu from the new game screen on M&B 1.011.

Shader, Visuals and Performance
  • Applied soft particle shader to shadow props.
  • Separate materials for skinned/unskinned troll/ent meshes.
  • Apply instanced shaders to a number of prop materials, which should increase performance in Dale.
  • Applied instanced shaders to Lorien props, increasing performance in Caras Galadhon.
  • Improve Lorien armour textures (new padded cloth).
  • Fixed vertex paint for CWE apple tree LODs.

  • Add some level scaling to metal scraps quest.

Other
  • Reset all scenes available from the "build your scene" menu, so players can try them out.

Fixes
  • Fixed a crash related to a dwarf armour; fixed a Mirkwood scene range call.
  • Fixed a few bugs with Zigurphel's dialogue.
  • Fixed a few redundancies and RGL errors, missing collision Dale house meshes.
  • Fixed a texture issue with Lorien lamps.
  • Fixed an "invalid troop ID" bug with after-battle INT XP bonus (operation parameters were swapped).
