@ robertjoseph16 As a Mac user, you should follow the Mac Installation tutorial.
However, scene making in Warband is fun and relatively easy to learn. So everyone is welcome to give it a try and maybe contribute to the mod, after you've learned a bit. I'm also always happy to give tips and advise.
It's generally advised to use manual saving and keep several backup saves. If crashes happen to you when factions are defeated, my suggestion is to create a backup shortly before the final siege.
You may also be able to retrieve your last save via the game's automatic backup. But this only works if you haven't overwritten it since then (it only every stores the last save.)
