v2.2.8
Additions
  • Added the Forbidden Whip crafted from Forbidden bars
    - Grants 5% summon critical tag, and causes forbidden sand to jump from the targeted enemy to a nearby enemy when hit with a summon.
    - The forbidden sand projectiles deals 10 damage and ignore 15 points of defence
Changes
  • The Soul Blade now only summons 1 spinning blade each swing that deals 80% the damage of the sword.
    - Homing speed and range of the projectile slightly reduced
  • Stone no longer has any stats and cannot be placed in the ammo slots, but is still used as ammo for the stone cannons which have had their damage increased to compensate.
    - Base Stone Cannon 16 > 32, Mega Stone Cannon 48 > 64, Flaming Stone Cannon 65 > 82, Mega Stone Cannon 120 > 140
  • Using the Celestial Globe now makes the pillars perform their correct shield breaking animation.
    - A projectile will appear from the item and will quickly travel towards the pillars.
  • The Chlorophyte Dart Shotgun no longer fires a single Crystal Dart that deals triple damage, it now fires 3-4 darts that have local immunity applied to them that deal regular damage.
    - Reduced accuracy for all darts
  • The Dust left behind from Forbidden bullets no longer deals any knockback

Additions
  • Added the Bloody Urchin Staff, dropped from Hemogoblin Sharks and Blood Eels with a 20/25% chance
    - Summons a Bloody Urchin Sentry that floats in the air and rapidly fires blood streams towards enemies.
    - Deals relatively low damage, but the projectiles ignore 6 points of enemy defence
  • Added the Frostspike Staff, crafted from Frost Bars
    - Summons a frost sentry that remains on the ground that slowly fires piercing spikes at enemies that deal high damage and travel very quickly.
Changes
  • Most armour and equipment timers now get correctly reset when the armour/equipment is unequipped
    - The timer also starts empty upon equipping the items, meaning you now have to wait until the timer is full for the ability to be used.
  • The Cryogenic Set has been converted into an armour set, granting universal damage and crit buffs, as well providing 2 additional sentry slots and 22 defence
    - The set bonus provides immunity to cold themed debuffs, and makes all sentries inflict Cryoburn for 5 seconds
    - It also allows the player to summon a cryo cloud at the cursor’s location that rains down icicles below for 10 seconds by pressing the armour special ability hot key
    - Has a 5 second cooldown between placements, and summoning a new one removes the old one
    - It requires more frost bars to craft, but fewer insulated fabrics
  • Inferno Soul armour set bonus has been completely revamped
    - Pressing the armour special hotkey after a 10 second charge time unleashes a powerful inferno storm that deals massive damage to up to 15 enemies within range. It also inflicts soulburn
    - It can hit enemies through tiles, but with a reduced range
    - One minion slot has been moved from the set bonus to the Crown
  • The Derpling Headgear has been renamed into the “Ancient Derpling Helmet” and is now crafted at a demon/Crimson alter
    - It also grants the same buffs as the mask
  • The Forbidden Staff sentry has been slightly reworked
    - The 12 sand projectiles no longer deal damage themselves, instead a rapidly expanding invisible projectile is summoned each time the sentry fires the sand.
    - The projectile can hit up to 3 times if an enemy is near the centre, and cannot hit enemies through walls
    - This means the sentry will no longer miss enemies in between the gaps, nor will it deal x12 damage to enemies at point blank.
    - its detection radius has been slightly increased
  • The Overloaded Staff Sentry fires the bolts slightly faster and with less spread.
  • The Heart attack now summons the blood trail more often, but it deals less damage and ignores 5 enemy defence
  • The Spiky launcher bombs can now pierce an infinite amount of times if detonated mid-air.
  • Gnomes no longer drop the wooden items, they are now dropped from green slimes with a 1 in 40 chance for any of the 3 to drop
  • The Blood rifle drop rate has been increased to 20/25%
  • Updated the blood trail effect of the Bloody blade
  • Lowered the voulme of the Cultist Lightning Sentry firing lightning
  • Asteroid Chargers now have a new animation and trail when charging at the player.
  • The Screenshake effect from certain items is slightly less severe
Bug Fixes
  • Increased the life time of all vanilla sentries to 10 minutes to fix an oversight were vanilla ones couldn’t be summoned if a modded sentry was placed.

v2.2.6.4
Changes
  • All stackable items in the mod now stack up to 9,999
  • The 3 flamethrower weapons in the mod flame hurtbox now matches the size of the projectile.
    - The tile collision box remains the same, meaning that the flames can slightly overlap tiles without stopping.
    - The Ancient Sandblaster damage has been increased from 18 to 22
    - The Cryofreezer damage has been increased from 27 to 35
    - The Lihzarhd Flamer damage has been increased from 50 to 60, and the flames now stop on the 3rd tile impact instead of being destroyed
  • Hemoglobin greaves now grant an additional 2% melee crit, and the 12% melee speed bonus has been moved to the breastplate
  • Star warrior armour now grants a total of 15% increased damage, with the mask having 7%, and the Breastplate and Leggings granting +4% each
  • Chaos arrows have been slightly reworked, they no longer bounce off enemies and can only hit once, but they gain damage each time they bounce off tiles.
  • Beetle Penetration Potion now only grants 20 melee armour penetration instead of 25
  • The Overloaded Scandrone now aims slightly ahead of the player when dashing in the 2nd and 3rd phase, giving it a pseudo predictive dash
    - It does not do this for the first dash in phase 2 to prevent unfairness
    - Some of its attacks have had their damage values tweaked
  • The Fallen Warrior, the Heartless Soul, and the Frigid Snowflake have a new gore effect where they become a puff of smoke, and no longer drop their old gore.
Bug Fixes
  • Shadowflare armour set bonus should now work with most modded whips, provided they have the correct Projectile ID set

  • The Soul Staff usetime has been reduced from 10 to 8, and only requires 12 of each mech soul to craft
    - It now summons the colours souls in a set order, Might > Sight > Fright, instead of being random
  • The Obliterator now requires 10 Hallowed Bars in place of 2 unicorn horns in the recipe
  • The Seeker Blade has been renamed to the Hunter’s Blade, and now requires 10 Souls of Might and Sight instead of 8
  • The Solar Duck projectile from the Duck Quackture now uses the new explosion effect
Bug Fixes
  • Some explosive projectiles no longer have their sprite randomly appear for a split second to the left of the explosion

  • The modded armours that use the hotkey now display what the hotkey is in the tooltip instead of just saying “Armor Special Ability Hotkey”
    - If no key is bound it will say “Not Bound, set in controls”
  • The Tidal wave’s small water projectiles now ignore 5 defence
  • The Whirlpool Emblem now summons the water bolt every second when using a channelling weapon
  • The meteor fragments from the space spear now use the new explosion effect
  • The Frozen polestar and Blazing Star now hit enemies slightly less often
  • The Vaporiser no longer creates spikes upon impacting an enemy, only while it is being swung
    - It now has a new chain sprite
  • The Seeker Blade sprite has been tweaked to include some blue
    - The projectile now has new dust effects
  • Forbidden Bullets dust cloud now only deals half the damage of the bullet, lasts half as long, and only pierces twice instead of thrice
    - It also hits less often and loses 20% damage each hit
  • The Lihzarhd Sawblades now hit enemies more slowly
  • Spiky Bombs from the Spiky Bomb Launcher now last longer than just 1 minute
  • The Asteroid Mask no longer grants 2% critical strike chance
  • The Asteroid Helmet now grants an additional 2 defence, for 14 total

  • Added Bouncy Knives, crafted from Throwing Knives and Pink gel
    - Act like normal throwing knives, but bouncy multiple times and off enemies.
  • Added Cracked Bullets, crafted from musket balls and a broken heart
    - Has a 1 in 4 chance to split into 4 smaller bullets in flight that deal 50% the damage of the main bullet
    - The smaller bullets have 10 armour penetration
  • Added Chaos Arrows, crafted from Arrows and Chaos Orbs
    - Ignore gravity, and bounce off tiles and enemies multiple times, gains speed every time they bounce
    -Indirect upgrade to Bouncy Arrows
  • Added the Seeker Blade, crafted from Souls of Sight, Might, and Hallowed Bars
    - Melee throwable weapon, throws out a spinning blade that homes into nearby enemies
    - Replaces Seeker Bolts
  • Added the Spike Bombs, crafted from bombs and dungeon spikes
    - Acts like a bomb, but doesn’t destroy tiles, instead it explodes into multiple damaging spikes.
  • Added Asteroid Bullets and Arrows, crafted from Asteroid Bars and Musket Balls/Wooden Arrows
    - Bullets summon a fragment above struck enemies that deals 15% the damage of the bullet but ignores 50 defence
Changes:
  • Removed the configuration option to convert throwable ranged weapons into throwing damage
  • Only up to 3 Temple guardians will spawn if you enter the temple Pre-Plantera, however the player is now inflicted with the Obstructed Debuff as long as they remain in the temple
    - The guardians fire their projectiles ,more slowly and with less damage pre-Plantera
  • Most explosions in the mod now have a new visual effect, which is an animated explosion projectile, some explosions have different colours
    - The dust effects have been toned down in the modded projectiles.
    - Some of the Overloaded Scandrone and Vortexian Cannons projectiles also have the new effect
    - Rockets fired from the Vanilla Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, Proximity Launcher, and the Snowman Cannon also have this new effect, but the dust hasn’t been changed
  • All flamethrowers in the mod now have a new visual effect for their flames, they also fire projectiles twice as quickly to help achieve this, but every other projectile does not damage enemies
    - They all now consume 1 gel every use
  • Arid Sandblaster damage increased from 16 to 18, and it now stats it has 10 armour penetration on the tooltip
  • Cryofreezer damage increased from 22 to 27, and it now stats it has 10 armour penetration on the tooltip
  • Lihzarhd Flamer damage increased from 45 to 50, and it now ignores 15 points of defence
  • Bloody weapon projectiles have slightly tweaked dust effects which are lighter and larger
  • The Prototype Launcher now has autofire
  • Boulder Fragments from the Stone Launcher weapons now have some armour penetration
    - Fragments for the Regular and Mega launcher have 10, the Flaming ones have 30, and the Celestial fragments have 50
  • The Equinox light projectile now only deals 1.3x the damage of the sword instead of 1.6x
  • The Soul Blade has been revamped
    - It now summons 2-3 spinning mini soul blades that quickly slow down and remain in place, before homing into enemies after a short delay
    - The mini blades deal 33% the damage of the main blade
    - Use time increased from 14 to 15
  • The Spectre Scepter projectile now only pierces twice, and its damage now scales up half as quick.
    - The projectile speeds up slightly less than before.
  • The Storm Diver Shotgun right click now fires the same amount of bullets and the main fire
    - Also has a small new dust effect when firing bullets
  • The Seeker now uses Prototype Grenades as ammo
    - Its damage has been lowered from 45 to 30 to compensate for the additional damage by the ammo
    - Seeker bolts have been replaced with the Seeker Blade
    - The Demolitionist now sells Prototype grenades if the player has the Seeker in their inventory
  • The Spiky Bomb Launcher now uses regular rockets as ammo
    - Its damage has been increased from 80 to 100 to compensate for the lost damage
    - No longer drops alongside ammo
    - Spiky Bombs have been replaced with Spike Bombs
  • The Shroomite Launcher mushroom projectiles now have 15 armour penetration
  • Coral Shards are now Coral bullets, and can be used with any gun
    - They break after travelling a short distance, but are not slowed down by water, and ignore gravity.
  • The Coral Blaster can now use any bullet, however it convents them into the coral shard projectile
  • Different bullets from Coral Bullets can make the projectile fire further
  • The Overloaded Storm Core portal fires lightning at a slightly slower rate
  • The mini water projectiles from certain ocean weapons now have a small sprite to make them easier to see
  • Forbidden Bullets no longer split in air, instead they now leave a small lingering forbidden sand projectile upon impacting tiles
  • Forbidden Arrows no longer bounce and spin, instead after a short time they quickly speed up, dealing 10% extra damage, ignoring gravity, and piercing 3 times.
  • Certain items that summons projectiles from above now have a particle effect when they spawn
Bug/Oversight Fixes:
  • The Fallen Warrior’s banner is no longer called the “Fallen Champion Banner”
