Changes
  • The Pillars now have a new dust effect for when their shield is removed with the Celestial Globe
    - Updated the dust effect for when the Celestial Globe is used
  • The Bloody Blade, Hellsoul Blade, and Equinox now give static immunity allowing their piercing projectiles to hit enemies within range of the sword
  • Bloody Blade use time increased from 16 to 20
  • Hellsoul Blade projectile now deals an extra 20% damage
  • Derpling Sword size has been increased alongside a slightly longer sprite
  • Asteroid Blade damage increased from 100 to 110
    - Use time reduced from 16 to 15
  • The Space Saucer Staff sentry has been reworked
    - Now fires a single laser directly towards enemies below at a much slower rate, and can be set to manually target enemies
    - Damage increased from 20 to 28
  • Magma Orb Staff damage increased from 20 to 32
    - Sentry now fires slightly faster
  • Flaming Stone Launcher damage increased from 72 to 75
  • Lunar Stone Launcher damage increased from 90 to 120, and use time reduced from 20 to 15
  • Angry Mushroom health reduced from 175/350 to 150/300
  • Heartless Soul can now pass and attack through tiles, but has a shorter attack range without a line of sight
    - Its projectiles now move slightly slower
    - Health increased from 150/300 to 180/360
  • The Frigid Snowflake now moves slightly faster
    - Will now either drop a Frost Core, the Frozen heart, or nothing on death alongside the Frost Shards
  • The Dune Blaster will now correctly spawn in the Underground Desert
    - Will now either drop a Forbidden fragment, the Pharoh’s urn, or nothing on death alongside the Forbidden Shards
  • All modded prehardmode enemies no longer have their stats scaled in hardmode expert
  • Updated Temple Guardian and Moonling AI code so that they should work correctly in multiplayer
  • Added some punctuation to the status messages

Changes
  • Compressed Air Can’s knockback nerfed, no longer pierces enemy defence, and damage increased from 3 to 5
  • The Harpy weapons once again require Evil bars instead of Evil material to craft, and one fewer feathers to craft
    - The Feathered Thrower damage reduced from 15 to 14
  • Ocean Weapons have been nerfed
    - Tidal wave damage reduced from 17 to 10, mana usage lowered from 8 to 7, and splash projectiles deal less damage
    - Blade of the Sea damage reduced from 17 to 15, use time increased from 20 to 22, and projectile damage slightly reduced
    - Coral Blaster damage reduced from 10 to 8, and sue time increased from 9 to 10
  • Ancient Revolver now has autofire
  • Tombstone Staff damage reduced from 24 to 17, and knockback reduced from 10 to 4
    - Now crafted with an evil material and any type of tombstone can be used
  • Pharoh’s Urn sand trail no longer pierces, and fewer projectiles are created
    - Projectiles are larger to compensate
  • Frozen Queen’s heart whip range buff increased from 10 to 15%
  • The Heavy Boots now allow rocket flight
  • The Enchanted mushroom now increased damage dealt and reduced damage taken by a flat amount per quarter of health (1/2/4/6)
  • Star Warrior armour Visage and Platemail states have been swapped
  • Santank set bonus cooldown reduced
  • Hellsoul flames now have a 1 in 3 chance to drop from enemies in hell, with a chance to drop 2 in expert
    - Soul Cauldron now drops More Hellsoul flames, (12-20/15-24)
    - The Soul Cauldron Minions now have a chance to drop a single Hellsoul flame
  • Frost and Forbidden shards now have a 50% chance to drop from enemies in the respective biome
  • Eye of the Derpling drops more commonly in normal mode
  • Shroomite Reservation Potions changed into the Shroomite Ammo Power Potion which now increases ammo damage by 10%
  • Spooky Potion now increased whip speed by 10% in place of increased minion knockback
  • The Messenger’s Crown now only requires 5 feathers to craft instead of 10
  • Fallen Warrior now summons its sword projectiles more often
  • Shroomite Arrow mushrooms now deal way less damage
  • Minor tweaks to some recipes
Multiplayer bug fixes
  • The Temple Guardian now remains directly above the targeted player instead of randomly flying around them, as before it has very buggy behaviour
    - It still behaves as normal in singleplayer

  • The status messages that appear when defeating certain bosses now appear correctly in multiplayer and should no longer cause any conflicts with other mods
  • Modded enemies now drop their loot and gores on death
  • The Moonling now remains directly above the targeted player instead of randomly flying around them, as before it has very buggy behaviour
    - It still behaves as normal in singleplayer
  • The Moonling core now correctly summons the Moonling

Additions
  • Added the Pointy Wooden Stick, the Wooden Crossbow, and the Wooden Pendulant
    - Can be found in surface wooden chests, and also dropped from Gnomes and Wooden crates
    - Pointy Wooden Stick acts as a shortsword, but slower but with more range
    - Wooden Crossbow uses arrows and converts them into piercing Crossbow bolts, has a slow fire rate but high velocity
    - Wooden Pendulant is an accessory that went worn provides the Forest Empowerment buff when in a forest biome which reduces damage taken by 2
  • Added the Icicle staff that is found in underground ice chests, and can also drop from ice enemies and frozen crates
    - Fires out 1-2 gravity obeying icicles each use and has a fast fire rate
  • Added the Ancient Revolver that is found in underground desert chests, and can also drop from desert enemies and oasis crates
    - Fires out a burst of 6 bullets, with a second long cooldown between bursts
  • Added Shadowflare armour, dropped from Goblin Summoners
    - Whip armour set, grants 26 defence, +40% whip speed, +25% whip range, +24% summoner damage, and 1 extra minion
    - Set bonus makes all whips inflict shadowflame and increases damage dealt to enemies inflicted with shadowflame by 5, effectively being a pseudo tag damage buff
  • Added the Messenger's Crown head piece, crafted from Gold/Platinum, a Ruby, and feathers
    - When worn the player’s maximum movement speed is increased
  • Added the Marksmanship potion, crafted from a lens, Blinkroot, and Moonglow
    - Increases damage of all bullet firing weapons by 15%

Changes
  • Derpling Armour head pieces have been reorganised, and there is no longer a headpiece for each class
    - The Crown has been replaced with the Messenger's Crown
    - The Helmet is now unused, and can be crafted into either the Mask or Headgear
    - The Mask now grants +10% classless damage, +5% classless crit chance, and 6% damage reduction
    - The Headgear now grants +5% classless damage, +12% classless crit chance, and increases maximum movement speed
  • The Hellsoul Rifle has been replaced with The Hellblaster
    - A shotgun that fires 4 bullets, alongside a single piercing hellsoul bullet
  • Some Weapons have been slightly buffed
    - Gladiator’s Bow damage increased from 15 to 16
    - Gladiator’s Staff now has autofire, and mana usage reduced from 8 to 5
    - Granite Rifle now has autofire, and damage increased from 16 to 17
    - Granite Scepter now has autofire, and mana usage reduced from 7 to 6
    - The Surge damage reduced from 14 to 13, but the yoyo head now moves much more quickly
    - The Equinox use time reduced from 27 to 22, and the light projectile now correctly deals extra damage
    - Selenian Blades knockback has been greatly reduced, but this means the spinning blades will hit enemies much more often
  • Tweaked some projectile dusts
  • Frost bars and Forbidden bars can now be obtained from Boreal and Mirage crates respectively, instead of the old 1.3 crates
  • The Mossy repeater can now be obtained from Jungle Crates

Changes
  • Bloody Drops are now obtained post evil boss
    A new status message appears after defeating the evil boss to indicate that the bloody drops will start to drop
    They can also be dropped from Zombie Merman and Wandering Eye fishes in larger quantities
    They can now be used to craft some pre-hardmode blood moon fishing items and the Bloody tear
    The Bloody Pax pickaxe power has returned to 65%, allowing it to mine Hellstone
  • The Vortex Launcher projectiles have an improved explosion dust effect
  • The Beetle Gauntlet now correctly inherits the abilities from the Power Glove
  • Frozen hearts and Pharaoh's Urn are no longer craftable, and instead are now dropped by Frigid Snowflakes and Dune blasters respectively
  • Frigid Snowflakes drop icicles at a slightly slower rate
  • Dune blaster can now pass through tiles, but travel more slowly and fire the sand stream with less accuracy

Additions exclusive to 1.4
  • New armour set, Arid Armour, crafted from Bones and Sturdy Fossils
    Arid Mask:
    7 defense
    5% increased critical strike chance
    Arid Breastplate:
    7 defense
    10% increased critical strike damage
    Arid Greaves:
    7 defense
    5% increased critical strike chance
    Set bonus:
    Critical hits cause a small arid explosion that can hit other enemies
  • Added The Surge yoyo, which replaces the Granite Spear
  • Added the Gladiator’s Glaive spear, that replaced the Gladiator’s Sword
Changes from 1.3
  • The Lizharad Flamer is now crafted with Solar Tablet fragments at the Golem Altar, and has some tweaked stats
  • The Duck Quackture is now crafted and obtainable pre ML, but with some nerfed stats
  • Modded spears have a smoother animation, and have had their usetime lowered slightly
  • Shroom armour now grants 6% ranged crit and a flat +1 ranged damage
  • Santank armour now charges its missile more quickly
  • Eye of the Derpling now increased luck and critical strike damage
  • The Heart Emblem now increases maximum health by 20
  • Soul striders speed on asphalt has been greatly reduced
  • Bloody Pax pickaxe power lowered from 65% to 64%, so it can no longer mine hellstone
  • Some items have had minor stat tweaks

  • Mechanical tools have had their mining speed increased but range reduced
  • Many accessories are now crafted at anvils instead of the tinker’s workshop (As that’s really only for, well tinkers)
  • Glowmasks have been updated, and weapons that had one finally have it shown when used, instead of just dropped on the ground.
  • Some modded enemies are now immune to confusion
  • The mod’s internal name has been renamed, so a new world and character will need to be crafted if you have an old 1.3 one where this mod was previously used
