Suffered several strokes due to the extensive recoding thanks to huge beta updates and integrating EAI 4.0 properly.

Added the ability to remove infrastructure, anti air buildings, radar stations and air bases.

Added some experimental scripted GUI stuff, to be fully developed soon (can already be found in-game).

Decisions

  • Added a small effect to an Italian Speech
  • Changed icons for many decisions for more variety and better depiction of said decisions
  • moved some decisions between categories
  • Fixed "Remilitarize State" decision
  • Replaced the flag-based system of many decisions (extend/limit work hours, allow/ban foreign soldiers) with a national spirit-based system (should reduce load on the game, spirits are hidden)
  • Fixed 2 german speeches not playing the intended sound file
  • Cleaned up decision effects and triggers as much as possible to improve performance (no compromise in functionality or decision count)
  • All cities in states cored by "Reintegrating German Territories" will be renamed to german
  • "Expand Air Training" now reduces accident chance by 5%
  • Added a condition for "Fall of France" speech (must be at war with Britain)

National Focus
  • Added all adjustments of previous versions to the Soviet Focus Tree
  • Changed requirements for "Improve National Spirit" (Germany)
  • Changed Coal Liquification/Liquidization Focus (Japan/Germany) to build a synthetic refinery elsewhere if one has been built in the targeted state already
  • Dutch "Expand Pesky Oil Island" Focus will no longer build a synthetic refinery if one has already been built on said island
  • "NAFINSA" (Mexico) will now either build 2 Military Factories or 2 Synthetic Refineries depending on your research/what has been built in those states already (you'll get either one)
  • Made similiar corrections as above (concerning additional synthetic refineries) to the Focus Trees of the following countries (Canada, Hungary, Italy)

Buildings
  • You can only build one synthetic refinery per state now (now the Axis is dead)

Scripted GUI
  • Disabled demanding states for AI as it tended to demand stuff every few months in 1936

GFX
  • Added an icon for Ship Anti Air 5
  • Added icons for the expanded artillery techs (Artillery 4, Rocket Artillery 3, Anti Tank 4 and Anti Air 4)
  • New Portrait for Franklin D. Roosevelt (USA) and various other country leaders of the following countries (POL, GRE)

AI
  • Changed ai_will_do values for all economic laws, it should now combat exhaustion better (might need more work as EAI is also included in this update)

Ideas
  • Removed +10% State Building Slots from "Workers Culture"
  • Added +10% Max Production Efficiency Cap to "Workers Culture"
  • Ernst Thälmann (German Communist Revolutionary) now requires the focus "Secure the New State" in order to be available
  • "Bypassing Legislature" Spirits will no longer be visible to everyone so only you know your pesky tricks :)

Technologies
  • Lowered the Support Company Buff in the "Superior Firepower" Doctrine to +10% Soft Attack and +5 Organization per Company
  • Lowered the Night Attack Penalty reduction in "Grand Battleplan" to 10% (25% previously)
  • Only one level of synthetic refineries can now be researched

  • Balanced some numbers between infantry equipment of different years

  • Moved the nuke counter slightly to the right so it doesn't cover up the XP counters anymore
  • Made some convenience-based adjustments to the division icon window
  • Added "More Division Icons" (works again)
  • Widened several windows in the tech tree to accomodate new technologies
  • Added labels for convenience and increased user-friendlyness to the tech tree

  • Reduced the terrain penalty modifier for the "Adaptable" trait to -0.25 (from -0.5)

  • Raised the 787 state limit for justifying war goals to 833 (current state count)
  • Removed notification for hidden events when declaring war (they're still there and working as intended, you just won't notice them)

Traits
  • Actually fixed the research speed modifier by National Ideas

Decisions
  • Added over 20 speeches for the following countries (Germany, England, USA)
  • Added AI modifiers for all speeches
  • Balanced effects for said speeches

AI
  • Changed costs for using the demand menu to the same costs as if it were a player (everyone now pays the same amount of PP for demanding something)
  • Reduced the chance of the AI using the demand menu (it sometimes led to China giving up Beijing to Japan in March 1936)

Technical Changes
  • Removed some on_action effects in order to improve performance and reduce additional load to a minimum

Scripted GUIs
  • Allied Construction Projects will no longer be usable when you can directly build on a subjects territory instead
  • Beheaded some functions of "Puppet Manager" as the single most used option was to free a subject, now it is the only option that's left (decisions take the place of playing the autonomy game)
  • Fixed a lot of errors occuring with 1.6.0 and cleaned up some technical unnecessities
  • Added a few texts and interface elements for clarification
  • National Ideas GUI should now be always visible and only glowing when you have 150PP

Decisions
  • "Pass Enabling Act" is now exclusive to Italy (due to the UKs new focus tree)
  • Added "Stop awarding Maternity Medals" and added a Stability modifier to both involved decisions
  • Adjusted "Construct Salpa Line" (Finland) in terms of the actual forts placed and the days it needs takes to complete
  • Adjusted "Construct Metaxas Line" (Greece) in terms of the actual forts placed and the days it needs takes to complete
  • Adjusted "Construct Arpad Line" (Hungary) in terms of the actual forts placed and the days it needs takes to complete, also triggers (now you need to be at war with the Soviet Union)

National Focus
  • Added the lowered Exhaustion as effect to a focus in the US, Japan and the Soviet Trees
  • Tried to balance UK's "Carrier Focus" with "Battleship Focus" (latter allows you to get a free battleship after doing another focus)
  • Canada can now get all the resources from "Supply the Empire" when doing "Patriation"

Traits
  • Added a few effects to "Economist", "Editor" in accordance with previous additions to "Armaments Organizer"; balanced both between each other
  • "Defensive Doctrine" now grants +1 Defense Skill
  • Added more effects/modifiers to some traits (country leaders)

Defines
  • Reduced the defense bonus gained by Entrenchment by 50%
  • Up to 150 dockyards may now be assigned to production of convoys

AI
  • Rewrote strategies to counter gained Exhaustion by lowering the Economic Mobilisation, might need a revisit

Ideologies
  • Enabled Exiles for all ideologies

Interface
  • Smoothed out some inconveniences in the Division Designer, Unitview and Deploymentview

Technologies
  • Equipment Conversion techs now increase Navy refitting by 20% each

Custom Game Rules
  • Every nation can now be strengthened

  • Added tons of missing localisation texts
  • Added more localisation to scripted GUI for easier navigation
