Battle of Korengal Valley

Description
[SP/COOP 1-20] Afghan National Army and Police conduct anti-Taliban operations in the Korengal Valley of Kunar Province, Afghanistan.

This is a traditional ALiVE insurgency. The mission is designed is to replicate a long-term persistent campaign, going out on patrol, talking to the locals, clearing and holding towns, and destroying the enemy resources. For more insight on how to play, please read the "How to play" section in the mission briefing area. For a more in-depth analysis of what the bells and whistles of an ALiVE Insurgency entails, here is an excellent breakdown from the ALiVE wiki: http://alivemod.com/wiki/index.php/Insurgency

Although solo play is encouraged, the mission should ONLY BE run on a local hosted server. If you want to use a dedicated server, grab the PBO from the link below. Features include:

CAS and logistical support
The full suit of ALiVE features including suicide bombers, IED's and VBIED's
AI Recruitment
Helicopter and vehicle resupply triggers
The Muslim Call to Prayer
Ambient civilian traffic
Multiple bases and outposts to choose from for respawn
Intelligence on dead bodies
Zeus Game Master for Admins

Saving your progress: This mission uses a local saving feature, which is accessed in the esc menu and initiated by the "server save and exit" function. To continue your save, simply act as if you're starting the mission for the first time and your data will load automatically. To start your progress over, change the PBO name or execute "call ALiVE_fnc_ProfileNameSpaceClear" and then click "local exec" in the debug console.

*Some images might contain RHS and Project OPFOR assets. That's because I made this mission before switching over to CFP. Please DO NOT ask about it. I might take new screenshots, I might not!

we've got an amazing server PC, I9 and 32gb ram and etc. almost maximum high end pc
it doesn't matter whether we use HC or not, FPS is the biggest problem, maximum FPS is 22-30 what we get and then it constantly changes, but it keeps dropping.
we don't have any stable FPS which makes this mission playable..
any possible fixes? thanks

@inav make sure one of the units is set to "player." That will be the unit you start the mission as.

How do i spawn on that map, like is there a module that spawns my squad and me inside of it,or i just need to put a random blufor group in editor, and just make myself leader?

@inav384 Hey I just checked for you. Place a unit down for the faction you want to use, right click. One way is under "find in config viewer." There you can scroll down to "faction" and there you'll see the faction name you want to put in (lots of) ALiVE modules. The other is under "log" and using the option to copy the faction name to clipboard (where you can paste it somewhere with ctrl + v).

These will probably paste with quotation marks. I tend to not use the quotation marks though they'll probably work. Example, it might paste something like "CFP_O_TBAN" or something (that's a fake faction name, just an example). I like to write it as CFP_O_TBAN in the faction override section of ALiVE modules. Just make sure there are no spaces in front of the beginning of the faction name.

@inav384 You see how I manually typed in the faction names in the faction override sections of modules? If you want to change factions, you'll need to write in the faction names you want in those areas. Lots of modules use the faction name override, so you'll want to look all the modules you're using and type the faction name in anywhere it asks for it.

Been awhile since I did this, but if you don't know the faction name, fairly certain if you place down a unit in the editor from the faction you want to use, if you right click on the unit, you'll see some places where you can find it. For instance, I think under log, you can see what that unit's faction name is under "faction." You may even see an option when right clicking on a unit to copy the faction name to clipboard. For instance, a BLUFOR unit's faction name should be BLU_F

I'd say you'll want to avoid RHS and stick to CUP or CFP. RHS isn't 100% ALiVE compatible so you might have issues if you use them.

Can you tell me maybe how to i put my ai comander to be some else faction from cup or rhs doesnt matter?Cause when i go change ai comander factions it only gives my option for like nato and few others.Same with opfor. Thanks in forward!
