Description
CUP Weapons

The Community Upgrade Project is a cooperative effort to bring the content of Bohemia Interactive's
earlier games (Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead and DLC's in particular) into Arma 3, updated
to the functionality and standards of the next generation game.

This is the WEAPONS pack. It contains all the weapons, assault rifles, machine guns, shotguns,
grenade launchers, pistols, sniper rifles, and whatever else goes "boom" in Arma 2 and the expansion
and DLC's. All weapons are stripped of their attachments were possible, and these have been turned
into attachable scopes, lasers, flashlights, and bipods interchangeable with the vanilla content.

Some of the weapons are new or derived from the original ones.

Did anyone figure out a fix for the missing magazines in most cup weapons? I have tried using the suggested compatability addon for ACE...still no magazines...did not seem to make any difference. Any ideas, or is it a work in progress?

What happened to the missiles? ATGM and rocket acting weird in flight, before they flew in a straight line, now flying in a spiral or shakes in different directions as drunk, getting into a static target of 40%...

in other words, if i have my target at 300m and i aim at the 300m mark, my HEAT will land 400m from me, missing the target at aproximately 100m

I have a problem with the Maaws, Everytime i try to aim, it launches it around 100m above where i'm aiming. If i have a target at 300m, i'll have to aim at the 200m mark, otherwise i'll fail it. I've noticed it happen to a couple people, but most people have it right. any idea what this is?

they make that sound in vanilla too, it's just so faint it's not even audible. as for affecting weapons outside the mod, we'll look into it.

Out of curiosity, what's up with the mortars and artillery making such an overpowering whistling sound when their rounds are in flight? I see it was mentioned in the update notes from quite a while ago but it's even playing on non-CUP weapons like the vanilla Mk6 Mortar and M4 Scorcher or the RHS M119A2 and M109A6. Plus it doesn't sound much like any of those kind of weapons did in Arma 2, so I'm not really understanding why it sounds so strongly in the mod or how it affects weapons that aren't part of the mod?
