Description

Faith in the NATION - ARMA 3 World war 2 campaign

It's a campaign that lets you experience events from World War II from a German perspective.

In this campaign, you take on the role of the German soldier, later officer, Friedhelm Kirwinliger. His story begins with training at a training camp – Grafenwoehr in Bavarian alps , where he arrives as an ordinary civilian. But within a few years, he rises to the rank of lieutenant and commands his own platoon.

The story of this campaign takes place in 1939 during the German invasion of Poland. Friedhelm and his regiment are among the first German units to cross the Polish border and participate in the first skirmish along the border.

PERFORMANCE

The campaign is using a lot of resources so its recommended to have your ARMA 3 client installed on SSD hard drive for everything to run smooth and without lag or stuttering.

Functions that make players life easier

Rearm:
The player has the option to replenish their ammunition when it runs out.

Heal:
If the player is injured, they have the option to restore their health.

Command Vehicle:
The player uses their comand car for transportation, allowing them to move around the battlefield. If the car is destroyed, the player will have to move on foot.

Respawn:
This feature allows the player to respawn and continue fighting after death. The player will always reappear at the nearest position to where they died. The number of respawns is unlimited, but each respawn deducts 150 mission rating points.

Important Information:

The campaign is purely a historical representation of World War II from a German perspective. The author of the campaign does not support Nazism or condone the Holocaust and the actions of Germany during this period in any way. It is merely a depiction of World War II events from the viewpoint of an ordinary member of the German Wehrmacht.

Campaign style

This campaign is done in a slightly different style compared to my previous campaigns. In this campaign, the player doesn't just command a small group of soldiers but has control over an entire squad, sometimes numbering 20-30 soldiers, as well as several armored vehicles.

The command menu is activated by pressing CTRL+SPACE.

If you don't like the campaign, I would appreciate it if you could leave a comment about what you didn't like and how it could be improved. Polite and constructive criticism is always welcome. Thank you for playing the campaign! This is basically the style I like.I dont make super realistic campaigns but my campaigns are more like about fun and not hyper-realism.

@Nuclearman23 Thank you.I am glad you like my campaings. When i make a campaign i always try to make it best as possible but thats the reason why it takes me such a long time to make one :D I probably spend 5-6 months on this campaign but I work on it mostly on weekends because during week i am always at work.I am thinking about starting a new campaing this year but i am not sure what historic period shoud it cover.I made modern campaigns,WW2 campaings, maybe this time i will make a Vietnam era one using the Vietnam DLC because it has a full map of North and South vietnam and I can see a lot of possibilities there.

@generarommel

Well the problem is that sometimes the soldiers are not aiming at the targets, and were shooting off to the sides, or sometimes up in the air. I'll try to get a video clip

@DublintheCat i dont see how friendly soldiers at the shooting range in the training could kill you... Its not possible unless you stand up in front of them while they are shooting. Or maybe you attacked some friendly units before. If you can record it please send me a video of this incident.

I wasn't a fan, if you can find a way to make the "M" map a little more detailed, it would help a ton, since even if the simple shapes were put on there, you could see from points of Interest where you were, and would make it a ton more straightforward.

Also fix the AI please, the Soldiers at the range were firing at me and I died.

I have tried it again and now I see a marker on my screen on where to go. So far even though it is the start I am loving it.

@Andoity12 once you get into the correct barracks the mission will progress... its not so hard to find it
