HOTFIXED:
-Major FPS increase when editing large areas.
-Some converted terrain objects became unintentionally visible in mission

Features:
  • Edit terrain's heightmap in 3DEN editor.
  • Raise, lower, smooth or flatten the ground.
  • Works on any map.
  • edited terrain features are saved in the mission file.
  • SP and MP compatible. In multiplayer, only the server needs to have the mod.

How to use:
  • Press SHIFT+Y in the editor to open the Deformer toolbar. (Also found in the tools menu)
  • Please read the in-game help linked on the toolbar for relevant keybinds and other important information.
  • Save the mission before playtesting it!

Converting static terrain objects requires that they are available in 3den as placeable props. You might need additional mods to gain access to them. One such mod for vanilla maps can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2159003266 Any other similar mod should be compatible with Deformer.

NOTES:
1. This mod is in alpha stage, and might break at any time.
2. The smallest brush size cannot be any smaller. The map you're editing determines the minimum area that can be edited.

Hi Sams, I use your mod in making maps and I'm very happy with it. I figured out how to adjust the level of the terrain, but I have a question? How can I use the mod to get to water, make for example a river or an island, or clear excessive drought and water appear there?
Hello!Thanks for your great job.But this mod seems to make the collision between bullets and water bodies disappear, resulting in bullets hitting the water without splashing.

fix the mod.The mod causes the game to crash when used alongside ArmStalkers. When aiming at a mutant with a weapon, the game completely freezes and crashes.

when ever i press play on my editor scenario, the terrain goes back to how it was before i edited it. is this mod outdated? it seems to just not work.

Addendum to my post below. I got rid of "floating terrain objects" issues by upping the launcher parameter for "System Memory Limit" to 8192.

Control + 1 and Control + 2 seem to not be working for me for some reason. All the other commands do.

I think I have found a workaround/fix for the "floating trees" issue:
Can most of the time be fixed by setting your terrain/object view distance in settings to below 1000, and then restart the scenario. The terrain objects should not "float" now. Terrain/object distance can then be raised again, to your preference.
At least this works on my own scenario, where there were issues with floating terrain objects.
