Beskrivelse

Hellsing ARMS Ultimate includes an array of powerful weapons, apparel, abilities, races, factions, etc. based on the anime/manga Hellsing. Catholic paladins contend Protestant vampire hunters as vampire Panzer grenadiers slaughter mercenary dogs of war. These turbulent forces clash in ferocious crescendo as Hell itself sings!

This mod is an expansive sequel to my previous mod Hellsing ARMS. The gulf between them is wide enough that I thought it was worthwhile to keep Hellsing ARMS as a much simpler, weapons-focused, CE-compatible alternative (to be clear, Ultimate is NOT CE-compatible).

  • Hellsing is a manga by Kouta Hirano which spawned two anime:
    Hellsing - Impure Souls in 2001 (Gonzo Animation) and Hellsing Ultimate in 2006 (Satelight, Madhouse, Graphinica).
  • I do not own or represent any aspect of the Hellsing IP. This is simply a fan work.
  • References within this mod are made with respect to the Hellsing fiction’s depiction of entities rather than real historical entities.
  • Though this mod obviously centres around Hellsing, a fair deal of artistic liberties were taken while gamifying it into RimWorld.

Combat Extended compatible?
No and compatibility is not planned. The smaller version linked above is CE-compatible.

Where do I find [item]?
Normally you can see in the research tree what fruits a project will bear, but some items of this mod are created through unique crafting stations using VEF and will not show up on the research page. For spirits or ability orbs use the Spirit Resonator. For other items you're probably looking for the Cascading Casket found in the dimensional research project.

How do I create a race from this mod with Character Editor?
Hellsing races are two-pronged, composed of a HAR-race-thingdef and a racial hediff.
NOTE: A pawn with one, but not the other, will not function correctly!
I don't know how to make such a pawn with Character Editor, but what I can suggest that will work is this: just design your desired pawn as a normal human (whatever xenotypes are fine too), and give them a metamorphic hediff which corresponds to whichever race you want them to be (e.g. FREAKY Metamorphosis - Artificial Vampire, or Vampiric Metamorphosis - True Vampire). Be advised that they will be downed soon after the start of the game as the metamorphosis takes some time to work.

What's a cheaty way to add a bunch of souls or levels to my True Vampire?
Just spawn in a bunch of Ultimate Bloodbreakers and eat them.

Can't promise I would be much help, but if you would like to bounce some ideas off the wall. I can toss you my discord to chat any time you got an idea you think a second opinion could help on.

Don't get me wrong, no harm if you are not interested. I'm a perfectionist myself, so I don't tend to share the stuff I am working on unless I'm 90 to 100% confident about an idea.

Possibly. I don't know enough about the mutant system at the moment. It would likely be a patch mod that focuses on restructuring aspects of this mod, particularly the research tree, but the attention I put into modding now is focused on the backlog of stuff I have had partially developed for a while.

Do you have plans to integrate this Mod closer into the "Anomaly" Expansion Pack for those that have it? The Mutant system allows laying entire Hediffs and such on top of a Pawn Kind Def. It shouldn't be mandatory, but still, seeing Vanilla rendition Ghouls join the Millineum, or Shamblers, would be really cool.

Cool! I'd be interested to see that. I also created a Hellsing Manor and thought about making it a custom once-generated area on the world map akin to the abandoned lab, but I'm not quite satisfied enough with my design to release it.

Not much of a map builder, but after playing "Ancient urban ruins" I tried recreating the hellsing manor since it allows for multi-leveled locations.

A bit hit or miss since I used the parts from the Gothic furniture mod to build the structure, but it's better than nothing. :P If I knew how I'd defiantly use the ancient urban mod to replace default faction bases.

The three unbreakable apparel groups are Anderson's outfit (technically the same as Yumie's) + wig, the Hellsing Vampire Uniform + Seras Wig, and Alucard's outfit.They are just unbreakable because of an xml tag that tells them not to use hitpoints.

The reason vampires could not eat the modified pouches is because these undead races aren't allowed to eat normal food. Their restricted food types are: CarnivoreAnimalStrict, Corpse, and Fluid. You could make blood "normal," but I don't think you could then still have vampires drink the blood without also allowing vampires to commit unspeakable acts such as consuming vegetarian meals.

Quick Question, is there some way to make blood pouches a food item without breaking the mod?

I'm more or less trying to dabble with the item so it works with another mod, but am not too familiar with changing things without more often breaking them.

I tried changing the fluid meal type to a normal one, and it just made it so vampire can not consume the blood pack.

How is Yukie's armor unbreakable? I have not seen any unbreakable item in the hellsing research tab and Im getting kind of tired of having my armor break every time im dealing with some of these hellsing missions.
