Vanilla Brewing Expanded - Coffees and Teas

14/07/2021: v1.101

Vanilla Brewing Expanded - Coffee and Tea is another sub-module to the new Vanilla Cuisine Expanded mod series. This particular mod introduces 8 new types of coffee and 9 new types of tea, with ties in to other Vanilla Cuisine Expanded mods, with each coffee and tea granting unique effects!

From regular lattes and pumpkin spiced coffee, to kombucha and cannibal coffee, this mod has something for everyone, and will surely help your pawns warm up in the cold winter evenings!

With Vanilla Plants Expanded you will gain access to Lemons, and Vanilla Cooking Expanded will allow you to farm mint - a new condiment boosting social impact!

Vanilla Brewing Expanded - Tea and Coffee mechanics can be seen described below:

There shouldn’t be any incompatibilities or issues, but in case anything pops up, report issues in the comments.

Q: Do I need the Vanilla Cooking Expanded/Vanilla Plants Expanded mod for this to work?
A: No, but having those mods unlocks more features of this mod.

Q: Can I suggest a feature?
A: Absolutely, leave a comment down below!

Q: Will you keep updating the mod with new types of meals?
A: This mod is feature-complete - it’s literally a small module for the main Brewing mod. If you have a suggestion for a new module, please ask for it on the main Brewing mod comment section.

Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A: Yes, you can add it whenever you like. Removing it can cause some red errors but they will be gone with time.

Q: CE compatible?
A: Yes.

What is the fertility sensitivity of the lemon tree?

hi evelyn, can you remember if the drought fruit gives the same yield/nutrition/value as normal fruit, or if it was actually having lower yield/stats/values in some way?

i dont know how fruit really works, but id imagine that a fruit from a tree with drought, would be a bit smaller, and have less nutrients/energy etc then a normal one but am not sure :)

Does anyone know a mod that adds a way to make the new coffees/teas in neolithic? I do a lot of tribal starts.

Two things:
1. When a fruit tree is affected by a drought (the only event adding mod I have AFAIK is the vanilla expanded one, mind) it still drops fruit even though it appears shriveled and is otherwise functionally "on pause". This probably isn't intended, and is a little broken as it makes droughts easier to survive if you have fruit trees around lol.
2. Could you perhaps make it so that fruit that drops on its own isn't forbidden *if it's in your home area*? I understand if that's not something easy to add, as I'm a developer but haven't touched modding Rimworld (yet), but it'd be nice.
