Another option for hidden chameleons: try moving some of your soldiers around where you think they are hiding. Moving near them will cause them to reveal, and unlike the burrowed ones, they don't get an immediate attack if revealed on your turn. Just remember that they hide and run when taking damage, so hit them with a DoT or high damage attack.
