Take note that this game is in the Alpha stage of development and that the opinion of this review is possible to change when the full release of this game comes out.

Moving along DayZ standalone has a pretty pricey tag to get into the zombie apocalypse, and usually the first thing that comes to mind is if the game is really worth its 30$ price tag. From where the game stands of now, it has plenty of bugs and fixes (rubberbanding, hackers, etc.) that still need to be implemented before I could say it's worth the full 30 dollars. On the brightside, the game captures some of the best aspects of the original mod such as acting like a bandit or a legendary hero.

Along with that the game trully allows you to role play in the way that you want. In the end, DayZ isn't at the moment worth its full amount, but once the game fixes most of its issues it will be.
