by the way the xp sp2 file was downloaded to a dvd folder - should I have copied it to C drive?

In the Properties window, go to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom of the window, check the box next to the "Run this program as an administrator" option, and then click or tap on Apply or OK.

Hi im having a problem with TM medieval on my windows 11 home - i tried switching compatibility mode to run on previous versions of windows but it still doesnt work - any ideas? thanks
