Game has the look and appeal of Deep Rock Galactic but it's bogged down by way too many weapons and upgrades that are just bad and you don't have enough control over what is offered.
You don't have any control over where you are shooting and it would be fine to concentrate only on dodging IF most weapons didn't lose so much from said automatic aiming. It is frustrating to see your aoe weapons like grenades and wave beams go in the direction of a lone bug in front of you instead of the HORDE following you slightly further away behind you.
Unlocking weapons' potential is also annoying as it forces you to play subpar, weaker runs with said weapons instead of just giving you all the fun options from the start.
I would merge some stats, add more reroll/vetoing options so you can more easily control your upgrade path and give players more choice of weapon at the start of the mission.
DRG: Survivor has some good ideas for the Vampire-Survivors/Bullet-Hell genre like mining, multilevel missions and biome hazards but i can't recommend the game in the state it is now specially since game just got worse with the last patch since they just added more stat bloat.

Excessively balanced toward "snowball" deckbuilding. Either you get the incredibly strong combo going with the good cards or you muddle through on mediocre decks with bad cards (and there are way too many). Overall a fun experience for the first few runs when you steamroll with lucky decks but after a while the balance flaws of the game and progression bore you to no end. Could have been fixed with the built-in mutators or mods but the game deactivates the progression system if you alter the experience in any way to suit your taste, as if a single player game needed to police such things.

Other than that the game does have a good graphic and audio polish and for a few hours it can be fun, i would advise buying it only when heavily discounted.

Despite minimalistic graphics the vibrant colors and old Norse mythos blend together perfectly in this game full of challenges and mysterious lands to explore.
The experience is excellent alone but its even better with friends.
I definitely recommend a trek through the dark folklore of this Viking setting if you enjoy the survival and crafting genre.

I have played this game for over 2700 hours on and off over the years and i have had a LOT of great memories in it so i was sure that eventually i would come back to it and maybe buy any DLC that i had missed but if the game switches to manipulative mechanics like dailies, battlepass and ingame store then i guess i won't be coming back anymore.
Seriously Funcom, this game and its fanbase kept you afloat all these years and you turn around and stab your audience in the back. It could even be due to corporate pressure and what not but it's hard for us not to feel betrayed.

The original Subnautica was, and still is, excellent and this is more of the same. A good experience but i would wait for a sale as its not that long and after having played the original this feels like a big dlc or expansion more than a standalone game.

I played this game a LOT before Wind of Magic was released and while it was repetitive it was at least a good formula despite some flaws, some of which last to this day (No real reward in endgame and connection issues, lots of them)

As i came back and rejoined the community after listening over the years the reviews ranting about the mess that Winds of Magic was and the unbalance of enemies and weapons i can't help but feel that the game i loved is not there anymore.
The problems that Winds of Magic introduced still plague the game as Beastmen are frustrating and the Cataclysm difficulty locked behind a dlc splits the community.
In Legend difficulty you can't really get a decent match as most if not all the best players have moved on to Cataclysm difficulty and rarely play on Legend and even then you might get a disconnect or terrible lagfests.
The new mode "Chaos Wastes" is a lot of random variables and overpowered combos that can make for amazing runs or depressing failures as you commit 50-90 minute of your life to an expedition only to wipe to 3 monsters (at the same time) in last map or falling over a hard to see ledge as there are some everywhere in the maps.
Most interesting weapons and cosmetics are locked behind paywalls and there still isn't a satisfying reward system as the lootbox are all the progression there is in endgame.
The contents of the lootboxes are pretty much still the same from launch with a great chance of getting yet again another redundant red charm, trinket or necklace instead of a weapon and woulnd't do you any good for Chaos Wastes anyway since you start that mode with grey weapons and upgrade them along the way.

In conclusion while i do give the devs plause for releasing for free a new mode with a decent amount of new locations (though some partly recycled) and an interesting spin on the existing mechanics i can't recommend the game as you rapidly exhaust the novelty of it all and you are left focussing on all the details that instead hamper your experience.
I would suggest returning players to find a reliable team or ignore the new patch as it doesn't really make up for the old defects and new players can find other games in the genre that are better supported and less greedy with their ingame market (Deep Rock Galactic to name one).

If you ever enjoyed min/maxing detailed stats in a game then Satisfactory will get you hooked.
This game succesfully mixes an addictive and elaborate "optimization game" design with excellent visuals in a 3D environment.
I can't see a better successor to Factorio than this game.
Explore the land, Excavate for useful resources, Expand your growing factory and Enhance the production constantly to reach your goals.
I'm looking forward to the complete experience but what i see is already a lot of fun.

This is only a partial review as i did not experience the PVP part of the game which is probably the best part of it and i wish i could leave a neutral review but since this is the system in Steam ill go ahead and speak of what i played.
If you are looking for a PVE game to play solo this is not the one. The content is either balanced towards teams or just frustrating and it's exhausted quite fast. I will say that the electrical system and flying are fun when you get the hang of it. Graphics, audio and overall playability is good/decent.
Over all i had some fun but you can find more exciting and plentiful PVE content in other games of the survival genre like Conan Exiles.

I do not recommend this game for three reasons:

1) They made quite a few bad development choices, some in the weapons but most of them in the map design: most if not all maps are badly balanced and there is no protection for most of the player spawns meaning that you can easily be killed a few seconds after spawning on some occasions. Also if there isn't a strong core of players pushing for the map objectives and a stalemate happens the scoring system for teams rewards the team that gets the most kills instead of the one that controlled the map for the longest time.

2) The community is incredibly toxic. All matches you are guaranteed to find at least one or more griefers or teamkillers. It is a common nuisance to get hit by teammates when using limited resources like horses or siege weapons out of spite. This problem was seen in Chivalry too which is quite clearly the father of Mordhau but made worse by the elitism of some players attracted by the improved combat system.

3) Technically unsatisfactory at the moment in terms of polish (you get stuck in props quite a few times) and the proper tools that would be needed to fix the toxicity of the community, reports and votekicks, are missing. Votekicking is possible only through some technical workarounds and requires some work both out and in game.

A good fantasy team survival game with some rpg elements like equip rewards, quests and gearing option but no character progression so that the focus remains on the immersive combat system. Overall a good, satisfying game but you'll have to play in a team with friends or strangers so if the team experience isn't your thing this won't be your game. There are ways to play it solo but you'll need crazy skills for it.
