Repetitive tasks and generally easy puzzles make up the majority of this game. On more than one occasion I was expected to use a mechanic to solve a puzzle that was not told to me which was more than slightly frustrating. I ended up having to look up a guide on a few sections and would have never figured it out otherwise.

Great idea that just misses the mark for me. Gives a great sense of fun and nostalgia but the hopping itself and the small amount of content left me wanting.

Early Access Review
Great game overall, best analogy I can think of for this game is FTL mixed with Descent. Great 6DOF shooting and movement combined with roguelike elements which keep you coming back for more. Game is a touch content light but that is to be expected for early access and the devs have outlined future features. Game runs great and I've had zero issues with bugs or crashing. All in all, worth the money.

Duskers brings a fantastic new concept to the table in the form of a command-line based Rogue-like. While I was dubious of the idea at first it is well executed and fits perfectly with the tone of the game.

I had some serious doubts going into this game, but wow were they proven to be unfounded. Game is just an awesome shooter all around.

I want to reccomend this game, I really do. The core gameplay is fun, fast, and challenging just like the other Dark Souls installments. However From Software always seems to put one step forward and two steps back. The balance in this game definitely needs some work with sorceries and miracles ranging from pointless to OK. Poise as a mechanic entirely seems to not even be enabled. Not to mention From's horrible anti-cheat software causing legitimate players to be soft-banned and hackers/cheaters to be able to go unpunished. If these issues get fixed this game could be outstanding and I will change my review. Until then, avoid and wait for some major patches.

I cannot reccomend this game enough for anyone who enjoys metroidvania style games. The graphics, story, and soundtrack are all gorgeous and mesh to create a wonderful experience. Gameplay is also tight and smooth if perhaps a bit more difficult than I first expected, nothing too terrible however.

Do yourself a favor, pick this up.

Playing and slowly evolving through gaming technology is a cool concept, however Evoland executes it very poorly. The novelty wears off after about 20 minutes, and after that you are left with a series of poorly executed and frustrating copies of existing games. Personally I'd reccomend just playing the games Evoland is based off of to get a similar experience. You'll be able to see the various ways gaming has evolved while also having an enoyable gaming experience.

One of the best RPG's I've played, Bioware at their finest.
