I was here since the beginning, it's playable now, but there's still frame rate issues; I bought the tricentennial way back because I really believed in the idea, but jumped when they introduced P2W. Scrap and repair kits are P2W no matter what the ignorant fanbois say. The new NPC stories make the game more playable and doesn't feel like a bigger wasteland than the capital wasteland. The scoreboard system for their two month long events is pretty neat and lets you unlock atom stuff without buying it. The BR is pretty fun, but could still be improved from just two maps. I don't think I've run into any hackers in the game, but I have seen users with long hex dec names so I assume they might be. Overall, it's not bad, but not great. I'd put it ahead of the Brotherhood of Steel game for sure. If you want to get it, please buy it on discount.

I've got about 19 hours and so far I'm liking it. The only think I really don't like is that it's easy screw up your battle prep; there isn't an option to take over behind objects before starting to fight so you have to guess what's good cover. I guess I was spoiled by Mutant Year Zero which lets you better prepare for battle by letting you see the enemies awareness and what's good cover. I've tried to play the previous installment after playing the beta, but I found quality of life lacking with gameplay; the enemies didn't seemed to be scaled correctly, the travel canteen system is annoying, and the story is a bit boring. I'll update when I'm done with game fully.

Way better than Minecraft as there's actually a plot.

It's the not the same game I feel in love with way back in alpha, the inventory system is messed up, reloading garbage; it's really bad now which is sad to say the least because it was doing just fine before they started messing with the menu systems and how much damage Zombies take which are somehow super human. It feels like they just hired an outside company to rush it out of alpha no matter what it did to the gameplay. Now DayZ is just a pathetic overpriced lump of its past self.

RIP better old DayZ, we hardly knew thee.

Best one so far before the weird change in 4. I picked up the game first for Xbox when TRU was still around with my employee discount on BF which tells you it's good enough to play again on a better system which was what I did the next time it was on sale on Steam. Anyway, it has the same great gameplay as the other games plus you can send cows to space with your grapple hooks. I do like the comic book style storytelling in the DLC when dealing with the Black Hand. The main story isn't bad and you get the old gang back together to at one point in the story from previous games; to be honest though if you've played the others you know the story isn't as important. The biggest improvement, IMO, is the addition of Doctor Who! Yes, David Tennant plays an unnamed DJ forced to comment on the events that take place during the game; they're quite funny and well worth a listen when they come up. My only con is the occasional bug with attacking police stations; for some reason, on PC, they bug out with not killing or blowing up enough stuff and I'll have to retry it a few times for it to work. Solid 8/10 for me.

Everytime I try to run this game I get a DX11 error which seems to be a rare error because some users got it. I tried to get help from the dev team about it in a forum post and on their Discord server; I had one person help me who wasn't even part of the team and the fix they told me about was one I already tried. Their English side of the discord server isn't as popular as their Russian side so if you have a problem with your game and you don't speak Russian good luck because they don't care. I'll never buy this game again, not because they don't speak English but, because they didn't even bothering with my problem; I know they had to have seen it since it was posted in "discussions" and "bugs" yet the only person to answer was someone who played the game. I should include I'm in the process of trying to refund the game but, when I submited my claim my comments disapeared how about that. I'll let comments on here for now and if the dev wants to try and make things right I'll give it a try but, it's doubtful.
