I guess it's alright

Can't recommend a game that charges money for a DLC and the "sunset" the content. Honestly regret spending every dollar I've spent on this piece of ♥♥♥♥

It's a game of which I play. Wish it was more what they originally promised though.

Is this game a remastered edition?... no.
Does this game provide state of the art graphics with ray tracing and 8k textures?... no
Am I biased due to an emotional connection to this game when I was younger?... Yeah I'd say you're right.

Besides that though this game is really worth a chance, sure they didn't do much in changing this edition from the original one, but the IP isn't dead and that's the important thing. If we support this edition now it's possible they would consider coming out with another chapter in Amalur.

If you love a great intriguing story that can consume you with amazing voice acting and sound effects this game is a must have if you've never played before. The UI is a little lackluster and dated same as the detail of characters or weaponry, however if you've ever played a fable game it's comparable to that in ways of graphics.. (I know not the best).

This game has a huge range of weapons from your traditional hammers, swords, and daggers to the more untraditional chakrams, sceptres, and faeblades with a few more not mentioned. You can use two weapons in combination with one another to create fascinating and powerful looking combos that (for me) never lost any enjoyment throughout the hundreds of hours I have in this game across the platforms.

This game does hold a personal connection to me as I played this with my grandmother in her later years in life, she would always think it was a movie. She's not here anymore to enjoy this edition with me but playing this always brings me back to that time where I'd be playing it as she watched in amazement of the wide range of weapons and magic our character would use, she would always get swept away in the story of the Fae and how they looked at mortals. She use to always ask me why our character would be doing certain things and laugh as we failed and achieved many things. My grandmother had a harder life at the end but this game brought her some joy throughout what she was going through.

I would like to thank THQ Nordic for bringing this game back to life, you have no idea what this game means to me.

This is absolutely hands down with no doubt in my mind a game. Just buy the damn game it's amazing. You're going to like the way it plays it guarantee it (not subject for lawsuits in the event you actually have bad taste in top of the line gaming mechanics and engineering).

I know a Portia with an impressively awful taste in anime. She once recommended a CGI anime without warning me about the eyebrow-raising scenes, leaving me totally blindsided by the first episode. She even argues that CGI anime is superior to the lovingly crafted traditional hand-drawn ones. Luckily, this game is way better than Portia's anime recommendations—it's actually pretty cool!

I have not played this game for long however I can tell that this one is going to be a favorite with me and my friends 2/2 good job!

Look i hated this game when it first came out, however I must give credit where credit is due and hello games (granite late) did a lot of work to make this game closer to what it should have been originally and for free, im not excusing them for what they released however i would recommend maybe give this game another chance to see how this game has evolved.
