Really, nice resource management game but you manage your kingdom in person, as in real life. When you manage something in real life, you interact with people, delegate jobs, incentivize according to priority. You don't have a Birds/God's eye view of everything, like in other management or Strategy games.

In this game, you can play as a King or Queen, and ride around left and right, marching back and forth, collecting revenue and paying for construction and recruitment. By the end you are riding large distances to each side of your borders. You have to be careful not bite more than you can chew, and stretch your forces too thin, or else you will lose all your progress pretty quickly.

Personally, this along with Mount and Blade, gave me a feel of why a medieval ruler had to ride around to points of interest. It made me understand the world better from a ruler's point of view, something most people don't get to experience in real life.

Half the fun in a game is figuring things out by yourself, resist the temptation of looking up things. This game is like an appetizer, if you enjoy beating this game. You can try "Kingdom: New Lands" and play coop in "Kingdom Two Crowns"
